JENNIE CONTINUOUSLY THREW a blue rubber ball at her room wall as she hummed to a Beatles song, twist and shout on her walkman. She desperately tried to get rid of the huge wave of annoyance she felt all day after being scolded by her father for hanging around Miller's kid. Jennie knew it was now a forbidden rule to even be in the same vicinity as him but she couldn't help it. Even if she tried her best to stay away from his annoyingly bright smile he'd always find a way to talk with her.

And she simply couldn't confess to her father that Taehyung and the Reed family were probably the only people in Hawkins that appreciated her presence. It would hurt the man and make him blame everything on himself for the reputation he's created for his daughter; even if it was just a mere drinking habit that he's judged for.

Jennie sighed resting her arm over her eyes as Taehyung's go-lucky happy face flashed her mind for probably the twentieth time that day. Irritated that she still dared to even think about him after such a long rant she received this morning, she threw the ball with loads of force causing it to bounce off the wall and give her a brutal smack on the forehead.

"Ah shit!" She bellowed quickly sitting up from her bed lightly rubbing her probably bright red forehead. She grabbed her walkman pausing the music and took off her headphones making her ears catch a weird tapping noise on her window.

Furrowing her brows Jennie approached the window and slid it upward causing someone to jump in front of her. "Jesus!" She screamed closing her eyes, raising her closed fist ready to punch whoever dared to scare her so late in the afternoon.

"Woah! Woah! It's me!" The voice shouted catching the fast-moving fist that went flying straight for their nose. Jennie opened her eyes letting a heavy sigh leave her lips.

"God damnit Taehyung! I would've knocked your ass out!" She yelled vigorously shaking her hand in the air emphasizing her deadly weapon.

Taehyung gave her a sheepish grin, "Sorry." He apologized swiftly jumping through the window after Jennie scooted away for him.

"What are you even doing here so late?" She asked him slightly confused that he came all the way to her house on a Saturday night after the awkward incident with his father.

Taehyung couldn't help but glance around her room smiling gently as he noticed countless pictures of her and her dad when she was young on her dresser. The light grey-colored room felt very warm and welcoming as multiple plushies were scattered throughout her bed. "I wanted to check and see if you're alright." He truthfully replied earning a narrowed-eyed stare from Jennie.

"I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be exactly?" She retorted not buying his weird statement after all there wasn't a need for him to directly visit her about how she was feeling when he could have asked back at school.
