❤️Valentine's Date💙

Hey kings queen and my fav in betweens! This is a head cannon that I thought of after watching the squad's valentines day video (2022) that I thought I'd make for more chapters. Stay safe, stay you, and remember to stay hydrated!

Sora's POV!
The squad and I had just finished recording and I still didn't know what Jaxx was doing. Him and I haven't talked about anything since this morning and it's really upsetting. Did I do something wrong?

I get off the computer and leave my office. Before I could get far, I see a red headed boy, on his knees, blowing up balloons.
My appearance seemed to have caught him off guard and the balloon flew out of his hand and landed on the rug.

"Sora! Baby.. Happy valentines day!" He gave an awkward smile and laugh before getting up from the floor to hug me.

I look at him in confusion and ask, "What are you doing?"
My response seemed to have caught him of guard because he quickly pulled away and smiled after a pause.

"Nothing of your concern, Sora." Jaxx's voice still made my face glow a deep crimson bit I covered it up by rolling by eyes and walking away.
He grabbed me by my wrist and spun me around.
"Where do you think you're going? Come on, I have something to show you." With our fingers intertwined with one another, we walked out onto the balcony of our apartment.

The sun was just setting and the rails had these beautiful lights surrounding a candle lit table. Touché romantic, babe.
"Take a seat!" Jaxx smiled at me, pulling out a chair from the table. I took a seat and he kissed my forehead.

"Jaxx, I'm not even dressed for this! I'm still in my sweatpants and a shirt from last night!" I pointed out, making a movement to prove my point.

"I don't care. The food's gonna get cold and I spent way too much time on this. Date me."
His response was so direct it made me laugh.
"We're almost married, babe." I sigh.
"You get my point." He kissed me on the cheek and went to get the food.

Home cooked meal by my most favourite person in the world... maybe second. Second most favourite person in the world. But definitely first favourite in the squad.. Wait no, still second, I'm obviously the best member but Jaxx' got his looks and height.

We finished our dinner and Jaxx sung me to me which could have been one of the most cheesiest things he has ever done, but I felt like a king so it was a win-win.

Then he told me to get dressed. Could've told me that before our dinner, babe.

"Sora, are you almost done?" Jaxx called from the front door of our home. I was all the way across in our room, picking out which top to wear with my jeans. The weather was pretty cool with some breeze so I wanted to be prepared. Back up plan is to always take Jaxx's hoodie or jacket, I probably already have about 50 hidden somewhere from him.

After some time, I finally had the right outfit put together.
"Coming!" I stepped out of our room feeling proud, a light baby blue jacket fitted me cosily and my top was checkered with a really cute teddy bear (thank you Charli)!

I think I stunned him for long enough.
"Finally," he kissed me on the forehead. "Let's go before it gets too late."

The scene was beautiful, we went to a nearby park and sat on a bench – or well, I sat on a bench whilst Jaxx went to get us hot cocoa. He said we couldn't have coffee because it was already late and "I" needed sleep. Such a mood destroyer, but I love him.

"Baby, I'm back!" I turned to my left to see Jaxx holding two hot cocoas, his face full of excitement.

I reached out my arms towards him – or the hot cocoa, whatever came first – and he took a seat beside my left.

I got a bit too excited, though, because I ended up accidentally spilling some of my hot cocoa onto Jaxx's red, plaid jacket when I tried to get the drink.
"Jaxx! Oh my gosh. So sorry!" I profusely apologised, taking off my jacket to dry him off a bit (instead of using a napkin like a normal person).

"Sora it's fine." He laughed. Something about his laughed made me wanna hurst into laugher. Something about him told me I shouldn't feel afraid or guilty. "We can always wash these clothes but you do owe me now." There it is.

The journey back home was just laughter and pecks of kisses. I'm so so grateful for him, sometimes I question what I did to deserve such a person.

We got home and tidied ourselves up, creating a little mess in the kitchen from all the splashing and flicking of the water onto one another. Jaxx turned on some music and grabbed my hands and invited me for a dance, it wasn't much of a slow dance nor was it a party song. It was just an embrace with soft music in the background.

We began to grow tired. Tired of the day but that was definitely one of the happiest nights I have ever had.

Calming ourselves down, we picked out a film to watch. Just the two of us for the rest of the night. Wrapped in the blanket, I feel my eyelids start to drop and it's dark. Dark but the sounds of the movie and comfort of Jaxx beside me soothes it all.

I wake up in my bed. It comfortable and I don't wanna get up. I open my eyes to vague light slipping under the curtains and look at the arms wrapped around my lower torso. They're big hands in comparison to mine and I rotate my body with all the effort I have and look at his sleeping face. Jaxx looks so peaceful asleep. His soft snores, gentle touch when he makes sudden movement, and how his red hair shines when in radius of light.

I love you, Jaxx. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

As you may have heard, a beloved member of the Minecraft community, Alexander – most commonly known as Technoblade, passed away to a year long battle of sarcoma (a stage four cancer), on 30th June 2022. I send my condolences to his family and the many who grieved the loss.
