Littleherinsnowluke stumbles on the corridor the moment he was pushed out from his room.
his face was the first to make contact on the carpeted floor, knocking him wide-awake. the drowsy haze from his eyes, instantly disappear, replaced by sudden awareness and vigilance.
he let out a groan before trying to stabilize on his two feet.
as he looks around, he notices the entire castle was quiet and peaceful, as if it were asleep.
of course, it was in the middle of the night. everyone would be asleep right now. that's why, luke was confused why he had been separated from his bed. shouldn't he be sleeping as well?
with that thought, he turned towards his room to immediately pick up where he left off from his la-la-land, only to freeze on the spot when he realizes that his door had disappeared.
"no way!" he tried knocking on the wall, only to be meet with silence.
he tried again, and failed.
he tried, and tried, and tried, but still failed.
"ha..." he could only sigh in despair.
luke dramatically mourned the loss of his dreams, before he decided to make a rendezvous to the kitchen.
if his memories serves him right, he had a secret stock of chocolates while wrapped in coffee bags, hidden under piles and piles of coffee bean bags from marc.
one of his hidden piles somewhere among many hidden piles within the castle, which north had yet to discover.
his darling little half-brother had made it a life-long mission to limit the intakes of sugar in luke's mouth, one of those things was to make sure all of luke's hidden stash of sugar would be discovered and confiscated, and instead feed him with all the nutrients and vitamins a vegetable could offer.
the audacity!
he may have love north with every fiber of his being, just as he loves all of his brothers the same way, but nothing and no one could come between him and his sugar of sweets.
now that sleep is no longer an option, he needed sugar to run through his veins to keep his eyes wide awake.
north might kill him if he had known luke had been on sugar high again, but he wouldn't know, would he?
as wise people would say, ignorance is bliss.
as luke make another turn for the third time, he realized that the path he had taken doesn't lead to the kitchen.
in fact, he had no idea which part of the castle he had to stumble upon. in short, he's lost.
for all those months they had been taking residence within the palace, he still couldn't find his way through every door and hallway.
"i think i made a wrong turn." he mumbles as he looks around him. "yup, wrong hallway."
it was an unfamiliar hallway that leads to an empty corridor. no doors, no windows, it was like a dark narrowed tunnel that leads to one path.
