It was a Saturday, and Steve didn't have to go to work. Usually he would just sit around and do nothing but today was different.

Steve went straight to the wheelers to talk to Nancy about Eddie because she was the only person who could really help him to get to know Eddie. I mean who else was really is friend? ( no offense Eddie i love you) Steve rang the wheelers doorbell, Karen answered. "Steve! Uh Hi!!" She said in shock, trying to process that Steve is at her doorstep. "Is Nancy here?" I want to talk" Steve said playing with his hands nervously. "Yup! She's upstairs!" Karen said leading Steve in the house. Steve thanked her and went upstairs to Nancy's room, the door was already open so Steve walked in. Nancy was looking down at something and then she looked up when she heard the door creak. "Steve!? What are you doing here?" Nancy asked with a concerned look. "Can we talk?" Steve asked rubbing the back of his neck.

Nancy and Steve sat on the bed next to each other in silence. "Are you friends with Eddie Munson?" Steve asked breaking the silence. "We only talked once but it was a long conversation." Nancy looked down at her hands, fiddling with them. Steve was very scared to ask this question but Nancy was of course his only hope. "Can you help me become his friend?" Steve asked looking away awkwardly. Nancy lightly smiled and got up out of her bed. "Sure I dont mind." Steve wanted to thank Nancy but he felt weird doing that because they havent chatted in a while. "You know if you wanna hang out with Eddie today he's at skull rock." Nancy explained all of a sudden putting stuff away in her drawers. Steve got up from the bed: "how do you know?" He asked looking confused. "Because.. He always goes there on Saturdays." She said looking at Steve with the usual "don't be dumb" smile she gives to people.

Steve left the wheelers house and went to skull rock. When he arrived he didn't only see Eddie he also saw Jason as well. Steve hid in a bush nearby to observe what would happen next. Eddie tried to pull Jason away from him but Jason was too strong. "Leave me alone!" Eddie yelled trying his best to escape. "Shut up freak! This is what you deserve!" Jason yelled pulling out a pocket knife, before eddie could say anything Jason carved an X where Eddies Left rib was, Eddie groaned in pain he pushed Jason off of him into the rock wall. Steve got up out from the bush before it was too late. "HEY JASON STOP IT RN!" Steve yelled walking over to them. Jason saw Steve and through Eddie against the rock wall, and then he ran away feeling no guilt. Eddies vision went blurry and his ears rang. He fell to ground.
