After Steve worked, him and Eddie went home. They definitely needed to get to know each other.

When they got home, Steve made a large bowl of popcorn to snack on while they talked. "That popcorn smells pretty good" Eddie said sitting down on the couch as the popcorn popped in the microwave. "It does. Want anything to drink? I got green tea, milk, limeade, purple koolaid?" Steve explained looking inside his fridge. "Ill take a limeade with ice" Eddie replied untangling his hair with his fingers. Everything Eddie did was very attractive to Steve...

They got their drinks and snacks and starting to get to know each other just by asking simple questions.

"What's your favorite savory dish and what's you're favorite sweet dish?" Steve asked taking a sip of his green tea. "Mm.. Well my favorite savory dish is definitely stir fry with fried rice. So so good. And my favorite sweet dish has to be brownie ice cream." Eddie explained getting a handful of popcorn. "What about you?" Steve thought for a moment. "My favorite savory dish has to be..biscuits and gravy with sausage. And my favorite sweet dish is probably.. Ice cream cake.?" Steve said smiling. Eddie loved Steve's smile. "What do you like to do in you're free time? You already know what I like to do ." Eddie asked stirring his limeade , as the ice clinked his glass. "I mostly like to just watch tv or bake." Steve said shrugging with a frown. "Yeah you are a good cook." Eddie said eating more popcorn. "Favorite color and TV show?" Steve asked drinking his green tea. "Uhh dark grey and any sitcom tbh." Eddie replied crunching on ice. Steve laughed a little bit, Eddie didn't seem like a person to like or even enjoy sitcoms.. "What?" Eddie said confused. "Nothing.. My favorite color is yellow and i love comedy skit shows." Steve said eating popcorn. "Mm.. Accurate" eddie replied. "What's you're favorite beverage?" Steve thought for a moment. "Green tea I guess? Or maybe coffee." Eddie laughed: "You're so basic Harrington" Steve rolled his eyes and did a pfft.

After they got to know each other. They both went to bed, Eddie slept on the couch. It was actually quite comfortable. "Goodnight pretty boy" Eddie called out laying down as Steve went in the hallway. Steve held out the middle finger with his back turned...but when he went into his room he blushed and put his face in his pillow, he loved it when eddie called him pretty boy, he loved how Eddie teased him. Steve was falling so hard.

Hours passed, and it was 1am. Steve was fast asleep and so was Eddie. Eddie all of a sudden felt a sharp pain in his left rib. He thought nothing of it until it got stronger, eddie jolted up a huge red stain was dripping out of his shirt. Blood dripped on eddies pants. Eddie started to panic, his stitches had come undone. Eddie felt like he couldn't breathe, he ran to Steve's room. "Steve! Wake up!!" Eddie said shaking Steve. "Steve! Wake up please!" Eddies head started to ache, and throat started to burn, Eddie started coughing up blood at the edge of Steve's bed. The loud coughing woke Steve up. "Holy sh!t Eddie are you okay?" Steve asked, he noticed that Eddies Left rib was bleeding again. " I'll be right back okay? Just sit on the bed." Steve said running into the living room. Eddie sat on the bed, he started crying. His mouth had a horrible taste and his throat burned, he felt like he was dying.

Steve came back with a 2 towels and some ice cold water. "Here press this against you're rib." Steve said handing eddie one of the towels. Steve used to the other towel to clean up the blood.
Steve sat on the bed with Eddie, he held the towel up against eddies rib, so he could take a drink of water. Eddie took a big sip. "Don't worry im gonna fix it. We just need the blood to stop first." Steve said. Eddie started to cry again, he didn't wanna go through the pain again. "I don't wanna go through that again" he said rubbing his face. "Im sorry Eddie but you have to you're cut is really deep, and its not even close to being healed." Steve explained. Eddie could barely breathe, he wasn't ready. Steve held eddies hand with his other hand, he rubbed eddies hand. "I'll be right back okay?" Steve said as he went into the living room again. Eddie was terrified, he hated being in pain. How did his stitches come undone? Maybe Steve used weak thread? Eddie couldn't calm down because of how bad is rib hurt. He wanted to thank Steve for saving him, i mean Eddie could have died. He felt like he was dying now. Steve came back with better thread this time, the thread was thick and white. Almost as thick as yarn. Steve sat with Eddie on the bed. "Ready? After we can have ice cream , i got brownie." Steve said smiling trying to make Eddie feel better. Nothing would make Eddie feel better, his pain was too strong. "Okay the blood stopped so we can stitch it up. Lift up ur shirt please" Steve said. Eddie prepared himself. "Ready?" "Yeah.." Steve started to stitch up eddies cut, "Just don't think about the pain okay?" Steve said looking at Eddie. How could Eddie think about something different? Last time he tried it didn't work. Eddie thought about Steve, steves personality, his smile, the way he treated eddie, his stupid hair. Eddie wasn't focused on the pain anymore, he was still crying though. Eddie looked at Steve, he saved eddies life, if it wasn't for him eddie would have been a goner. Even though eddie couldn't take a deep breathe he still tried to calm his self down, but the pain thoughts were too strong, a huge sharp pain stroked his rib. Eddie rubbed his face and begun to cry again. Steve made a sad face looking at Eddie.. he felt terrible.

Soon Steve was done. Eddie sobbed in his knees. "I'll be back okay" Steve said going into the living room. He grabbed a blanket, he wanted to get some ice cream but he felt that eddie needed comfort and rest because it was 4am..

Steve came back, and saw Eddie still crying. Steve sat down on the bed, he reached out his arms. "You need a hug?" Steve said raising his eyebrows smiling. Eddie looked at him , and laughed a bit too. He went into Steves arms, Eddie sobbed in Steves shoulder. Steve ran his fingers through Eddies hair. "Let it out man" he said basically telling Eddie that he had all night with him. As Eddie cried and cried, Steve thought about that yesterday at work, when Eddie pulled him in the bathroom. "You like me don't you harrington?" Rushed through Steve's head. It was obvious that he was falling for Eddie. After eddie had said that yesterday in the bathroom, he just kissed Steve after.
