It had been a week since I agreed to take in Tord and now, it was finally time.

Move in day.

Well more like night.

And unfortunately for me, Edd and Matt decided to leave for their trips three weeks earlier than agreed on. It was only the 12th but yet they instead on leaving now as to not miss out on any festivities.

While they went for Tords things I found old bedsheets he could use and then I could burn afterwards. I was getting really tired and checked the time, ten something.

I went to find the guys and said my goodbyes. I wished them a safe trip and got the car keys from Edd as they would be taking the train. Before I went to bed Edd stopped me.

"I think you're forgetting something."

I looked around.

He sighed. "I meant Ringo. Please don't forget about Ringo while I'm awa- you know what, I'll just take her with me."

"Good call. Welp I'll see you both in three weeks."

I watched them enter the elevator and waved as the doors shut. Once they were out of sight I went inside and was greeted with the devil sitting on my sofa.

"Your room is the first door on the right. I'm going to bed."

Once I was in my room I got cozy and ready to sleep. I laid on my bed, now the fun part. Seeing how long it'd take me to fall asleep.

No matter how hard I tried or how much I moved around I couldn't sleep. I could hear when Tord turned the tv off and when he went into the guest bedroom. Hell I could even hear the downstairs neighbors moving in their sleep. In the end I just closed my eyes and stayed like that, waiting for my alarm.

The alarm rang loudly in my ear, guess I spent too much time trying to sleep instead of sleeping. I got up, but once I sat up I was already at the gas station. I was already in my work clothes and a herd of people were coming my way.

I tried to scan things as quick as I could but I couldn't go fast enough and picking items up seemed impossible. Their shouting was getting too loud to bare and my breathing sped up to match my now racing heart beat. As I tried to work I heard Oliver calling for me but I couldn't reply.

"Tom! Phone!"

The customer in front of me handed me their cell with a call yet to be declined. I answered it but only heard background noises. Little by little I could hear my name being whispered and slowly getting louder. I then felt a hand on my shoulder and the phone dropped from my hand.

I threw myself up from the bed and swung in front of me, landing a hit on something. I looked around blindly into the dark and could see Tord grabbing his cheek.

"What the actual fuck Tord!"

He looked at me shocked. "What?! I just came to wake you up! Your alarm has been going off for the last ten minutes!"

I snapped my head to my alarm and had then noticed that it was indeed ringing. I stared at it for a moment before reaching out a shaking hand to turn it off. I kept my hand on it and my glaze stuck on the time. 11:43.

"Tom? Are you—alright?"

I looked down at my arm and watched it tremble. Only then had I noticed my unsteady breathing and sweat drenched face. I felt a headache coming in so I just nodded.

"Yeah. Don't ever do that again."

I threw the sheets off me, shivering at the sudden cold air hitting my skin, and held onto the mattress while placing my feet on the ground. Breathing in, I got up with a noticeable wobble and saw Tord react by coming closer.

I shot him a glare. "Fuck off."

I straightened myself out and went to get dressed, now in a rush as to not be late, and quickly stopped by the kitchen to grab a water and take a quick look at the calendar. I looked at all the days marked with a green check mark and grinned a bit checking off the 12th.

I grabbed my keys and Edds car keys before yelling out to Tord. "Be back at 8, don't blow anything up!"

I watched as Tom locked the door behind him. I heard him walk down the hall and heard the elevator ding. Once I was sure he was gone my search began.

I went into the kitchen and searched all the drawers. Nothing. The cabinets, the same. Running to his bedroom I didn't waste a second and threw the door open. I've been here longer than I wanted to be so I rushed and opened his drawers and threw everything on the ground. I checked the bottom of the drawers for a secret spot and lifted up one side to search underneath, knocking a few things off in the process.

Desperate, I hurried into the washroom and dropped everything in the medicine cabinet, nothing. The toilets tank, nothing. Where could it be!? The laundry room? Nothing!

Finally, I went to check the closet and saw several shoe boxes at the top. I was pulling them out when one on the bottom ended up weighing a little more than I anticipated. It came crashing down, several old keychains flew out and spread all over the floor. I groaned and kicked the box.

Where is it? Where could he have hidden it!?

I was stressing myself out. I needed water. When I searched the fridge all I saw were bottle of alcohol and very few waters. Guess Tom hadn't changed one bit. I grabbed a water and looked at the mess I made. This was going to be a pain to clean.

And while cleaning, I decided that a little snooping wouldn't hurt.
