I wasn't sure how much longer Tom would be, I decided to just leave him a note and head out for the day. Even though it was cold, I took after Tom and walked.

Thankfully the shops weren't all that fair from the flats. I browsed through different shops and just looked around, not really looking for anything. It was nice getting to see the town all decorated for the holidays. Seeing all the families dragging their kids around while they do some shopping, merchants doing their best to sell as much as they could, and others like me, just enjoying the scenery.

I watched as a mother rushed out of a shop with her kids, guiding them over to a coffee shop. Looking back, she gave a thumbs up, and as I followed her gaze, a man rushed out of the same shop, arms full of newly bought toys. Watching them brought a smile to my face, which soon dampen when I realized, Christmas is only a week away and I haven't bought a single gift for the guys.

I started to think about what I could get them, but I stopped. Should I? Matt and Edd were away and Tom didn't celebrate Christmas. The last time he did was, what, two, three years ago? And that's only because Santa gave us all freebies. But then again, I won't be here for Christmas. I have to finish my mission and-

Smacking my forehead, I groaned as I realized I've gotten side tracked. But what else could I do? I found a broken vial and no liquid. What else was I meant to do?

There wasn't much more I could do. I could remake it, but I made that years ago. That would take searching through thousands of documents to find out if I even remembered to write it down. Taking a final look around, I decided to head back. I was only out for an hour so I still had the whole day to do whatever else.

On my walk back, I thought about what we could get for breakfast when a certain building caught my eye. 'The Lawrence Center'. I stopped across the street and stared for a moment when it clicked. I saw their business card in Edds flat. I looked a little longer when I saw the front doors open and Tom seem long talking to someone before letting them close behind him.

Not thinking much of it, i waved. "Tom!"

Seeing him look around before finally seeing me made my laugh. He made his way over to me and seemed to be upset. "Hey Tord, what are you doing here?"

Shrugging in response, I looked back towards the direction of the shops. "Went for a walk and got bored. Now that you're here, want to get breakfast?"

"Uh, sure. There's a good diner back towards the shops." rushing ahead of me, he lead me straight to it.

Once we were seated in a booth and handed menus, Tom obviously didn't want to be here. I tried making small talk but would get quick and short answers. He didn't make eye contact with me and would move whenever I got close. What's up his ass now?

Eating was probably the most awkward part of it all. Hearing everyone talk around us helped a little, but trying to find somewhere else to look instead of at Tom was the worst. Although, towards the end of it, he seemed to loosen up. We got a small conversation going when we got up to use the restroom. I couldn't help but wonder, the hell happened at that appointment?

Curious, I got my cell out and searched that place up and I'll just say, I did not expect that. Tom? Therapy? I don't buy it. But then again, what were they talking about? I made a mental note of it and paid the tab. When Tom finally returned, we finished out food and he surprisingly thanked me.

We walked back to the flats and just people watched. It wasn't awkward, but fun. We would point things out or poke fun at someone. When we got back to the flat, it was only 11:45.

"So, what should we do now?" I let myself fall onto the couch and looked back at the door to see Tom on his phone.

"Mm, just a moment. I have to make a quick call." And with that, he stepped outside and closed the door behind him.

Not knowing how long he'd take, I got up and went to the room I was staying in. I reached under the bed for my suitcase and set it on the bed. I only grabbed a few of my things and sat them inside before returning the suitcase right back under the bed. As much as I'd love to stay, I have an army waiting for me. I can't let them wait for me while I wait for Tom to finally forgive me.

The sound of the call going though was making me irritated. Tapping my foot impatiently, I kept checking to see if they had answered while also eyeing the door. The last thing I need to Tord trying to but in as to why I'm calling a therapist.

When they finally answered, I recognized the receptionist voice. "Thank you for calling The Lawrence Center this is Ashley, what can I do for you?"

"Hi Ashley, it's Thomas Rosewald. I was calling to confirm my appointment for tomorrow if it's still available."

"Of course, just a second." I heard some typing on her end before she continued. "I see that you are currently seeing Jennifer, the only available appointment for tomorrow is around 9:40am, does that work for you?"

Eyeing the door one sat time, I nodded. "Yeah, that works great. Thank you."
