When it hits us, boom we start to roll
Every beat
Every rhythm
Has a emotion
Has a dedication
It is passion
It is soothing
For most of us, it is life
Peaceful and joyful
The energy within us
Can bring tears
But also take away pain
It is every color you can think of
From yellow to blue
From green, it's true
When it's soft
Makes me fall asleep
Just safe and sound
When it's loud
Makes me wide awake
Just excited and jumpy
Music is everything.
