Leather boots kicking in the sand
Dusty wind caught dirt in my eye
A little girl waved her a hand
as the Native American dancer said "hi"
Wearing wings of a turkey
Flapping them as actions of a story
Flashing my camera to capture the moments
Of sitting on the ferris wheel with mom
Telling her to not worry and look at the lights
The swings were calming like the wind
Then we brought strawberries
That was unusually sweet
Natural sugar gifted from God
My dad always had a camera on his neck
Taking pictures of every smile, every sec
My brother would walk around wondering
If there's any cotton candy left, they're so mouth-watering!
