Just understand.

Hey you, who complimented me, Thank you

It's for being so kind, and calling me sweet

It makes me feel special, just like a teddy bear, doll

I just need you to understand, that I'm always not very nice

Also, not perfect and always jumpy as you think it would be, twice

That is only the happiness in my heart

And it grows because of my gratefulness from the start

It wouldnt be right for me to think, for everyone to treat me fairly

That would be foolish, but I have always wanted to think worldly

Please understand, my gratitude,  it's not expressed enough

I feel tired, and just lose my mind, it just gets so rough

It is living one of my dreams when I can make someone smile

But I just need you to understand

It doesnt feel the same, I dont want to force a stand

At times I only feel like a puppy

Patted on the head, but then left around like I'm nothing

You compliment me everyday

And I welcome you as a friend to stay

If I'm a yellow crown to you, thank you

But sometimes I'm also blue, and pink, too

However, not one to be used, I just want to be true

I'm sorry if I can't always give you the right answers on a test

Or help you with homework by giving you my paper

But I did it on my own

You can do it too

We don't have to talk

Together, we can just walk

I am happy to be a pleasure

and give you a smile for the treasure

I'm glad you like my hair

But please don't pull it, not fair

I'm trying to talk to you

Aw, how sweet you love me

But, dont use that word

It's a strong one indeed

If you love someone, prove it
