Jackie's P.O.V.
I woke up to sunlight hitting my face. I squinted my eyes from the bright light and moved my head from Benny's chest to the crook of his neck.
I sighed happily breathing in his scent. He smelt like honey and some kind of cologne. It was smelled amazing.
He was still sleeping; his chest moving up and down slowly; breathing slow and calm; eyes closed; lips parted slightly; mumbling muffled words as he dreamed.
I wonder what he dreamt about. I watched him in his deep slumber. I smiled at him in awe.
"You're so cute." I said giving his nose a peck, admiring his features. I turned my head looking out the window, admiring the sunny day.
"I know." Benny's deep morning voice said scaring the shit out of me. I jumped with fright. "Oh my god, you scared me." I turned around to see his face, he had a smug little smirk on his lips, while his cheeks got pinker than ever.
It was silent for a few minutes, just both of us looking at each other.
Benny chuckled breaking the silence. "So... you think I'm cute?"
I scoffed nervously. "Um... Kinda...Yeah," I whispered in embarrassment, I felt my cheeks burn with it.
Benny smiled. I felt my stomach relax, maybe he thinks I'm cute too?
"Do you think I'm cute?" I asked burying my head in his chest, knowing the answer wasn't going to be what I wanted it to be. Who am I kidding? Who could every love me?
"Hey," Benny hands pulled my head up so he could look at me. "I think you're adorable." He smiled kissing my forehead.
I looked in his eyes. They were full of passion. My cheeks were on fire. He pulled me closer to his chest, wrapping his arms around me tight. I could stay like this for days, we were there for about another hour I think, I may had fallen asleep again. Out of nowhere Benny moved away still holding me in his arms gently not wanting awake me, but he had failed when I opened my eyes. I frowned. "Are you leaving?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm sorry, I gotta take a leak." He joked. I rolled my eyes playfully. "Don't worry I'll be right back." He laughed then closed the bathroom door.
I saw the telephone on the wall and the idea of calling my parents to say good morning was made.
I picked myself up into a sitting position.
Step one: done
I turned myself around getting off the bed.
Step two: done
I walked over to the phone and dialed my home number.
"Hello?" Mackenzie's voice answered the phone.
"Hi." I said
"Who is this?"
I rolled my eyes, really Mackenzie how can you not recognize your own sister's voice? "You're sister..." I sighed.
"Oh hi!" Her mind finally remembered. "Sorry you didn't sound like yourself. How are you feeling? Did Benny stay with you?"
I laughed. "I'm feeling fine, I'm still a little sore and yeah Benny stayed with me."
"The whole night?!" Mackenzie asked in astonishment.
My eyes widened. "What? Is there something wrong with that?"
"No, it's just really cute how he stayed with you and made sure you were okay. I wish I had someone like that, like that's not fair." She whined.
I laughed again. "Yep sorry sissy but I get the good ones."
