Jackie's P.O.V.
After three long, boring weeks in a hospital and wearing a brace, I was home.
My parents had picked me up and driven me home, where Benny and the boys were waiting.
I smiled when I got out of the car and was covered in hugs.
"Hey how you doing?" Bertram pulled me into a bear hug.
I giggled. "Good."
"Hey." Kenny pulled me into another bear hug, a lot of the boys did the same after.
When I looked for Benny I saw him walking over to me with a little sunflower in his hand.
"Welcome home." He whispered handing me the flower.
I smiled and just pulled him into long hug.
Benny and I had decided not to tell the boys or anyone we were dating, at least not right now, we didn't want them to get excited and say something that Brittany could hear, and honestly I didn't want to end up in the hospital again.
I felt a tap on my shoulder. I let go of Benny and turned around to see my sister.
"You got room for one more?" She held her arms out.
I smiled and jumped into her arms. "You're home!" She laughed with joy as she hugged me tight.
I heard my dad laughed. "Why don't you guys come inside, your mother has made sandwiches."
Mackenzie got a bag from the car that I had with me at the hospital but Benny as his usual gentlemen self offered to take the bag.
"Thanks Benny." Mackenzie smiled handing him the bag.
Mackenzie walked over to me. "Seriously where do you get one?" She joked. I laughed and shrugged my shoulders and walked into the house.
I sighed with relief when I walked through the front door. "Oh my god I thought never see you again." I said falling on to the couch, hugging a pillow.
"Dramatic much?" Mackenzie walked to the kitchen.
"Oh wow someone's already back to their old self again." I teased her.
She rolled her eyes.
"Honey please she just got home, just get along with her today okay?" I heard my mother say to Mackenzie in the kitchen. I smiled, thanks mom.
"Fine." Mackenzie murmured.
The boys came in with Benny and my father carrying the bags.
"Alright just set them down there," my father put down the bags. "Thanks Benny."
"No problem, sir." My father and Benny shook hands. I smiled at the sight; my dad is shaking hands with the boy that could be his possible enemy.
Benny had disagreed with me on not telling our parents about our relationship. He hates lying to his mother, just like I hate lying to my parents. I told him he could tell her if he wanted to but he insisted if I thought having no one knowing makes me feel safer so be it.
My dad had gone into the kitchen after my mother had called for his help with the sandwiches.
Benny saw my sneaky smile and walked over to me. "What you smiling about over there?" He tickled my ribs as he showered my face in kisses.
I giggled. "Nothing."
"Mmm hmm." He sat next to me on the couch. We watched the boys tossing a baseball through the open door. "I don't like lying to them." Benny murmured in my ear.
