"who the hell put this banana here?!" lucas exclaimed as he pressed the button on the controller harder to make his kart accelerate.

it was a bit more than 2pm, and super m were playing games with their fans.

they had started with a classical uno and a quick would you rather before skipping to videogames, and more particularly 'mario kart'.

considering there was 14 of them, they had decided to make teams – the idols vs the fans – and each member of each team would participate in the races. they had declared that the first team reaching 500 points would be declared winner.

"these wheels are shit, who even chose them?!" lucas complained again as his screen indicated he was 10th out of 12.

"stop complaining for a second and just move your ass!" ten yelled back, eying the four screens.

lucas and taeyong were playing against ryuwon and donghyuck for this round.

donghyuck was leading the race, a small '1st' on the bottom left corner of his screen as his character drove quickly and agilely. ryuwon was only a few places behind him, but this was only because she had been hit by a banana at some point. lucas was still 10th, trying hard to overtake the other players. and taeyong had all of his concentration on the screen as he dodged bananas and shells that were being thrown at him to keep his 2ndplace.

"donghyuck, blue shell coming." miyeon declared as she saw the small object travelling through ryuwon and taeyong's screens before appearing on donghyuck's.

"it's fine, i'm ahead."

the tanned male waited for the blue object to hit him before he would start driving again, looking at the map quickly, only to realise that the 2nd and 3rd players were just behind him.

he tried his best ignoring his bias who was sitting next to him and who was constantly complaining about his characters or the objects that had been left in the middle of the path.

"donghyuck, another blue shell!" inhye exclaimed.

"taeyong, we're counting on you, it's your time to shine." taemin spoke seriously as taeyong hummed back.

donghyuck checked taeyong's screen quickly, seeing the blue shell appearing there and then flying to donghyuck's character. but donghyuck had a plan. as the blue shell turned around his character, donghyuck pressed the reverse gear button making his kart stop and roll backwards just a slight bit as taeyong's kart arrived full speed right by his side. and so, when the blue shell hit donghyuck, taeyong was too close to him, and his character was also hit by the object.

"taeyong what the hell!" baekhyun yelled.

"we trusted you!" kai added.

"b-but... he was far away in front of me!" taeyong stuttered, still surprised by the hit he had received.

"go ryuwon!!" younghae cheered as ryuwon – who was just behind taeyong – had foreseen donghyuck's plan and made sure to be far from them not to be hit. her character was now 1st, speeding towards the finishing line.

donghyuck started his kart again as soon as he was able to, and he managed to catch up with ryuwon, without overtaking her.

"taeyong quicker!" ten yelled.

"i'm doing my best!" the boy replied immediately, speeding though the colourful landscape.

donghyuck and ryuwon were already ahead of them, a few meters in front of the finishing line.
