Chapter Fourteen

Mafuyu stood frozen in place, his heart racing and his breathing fast, the last time he felt like this was with his boyfriend Yuki, he couldn't believe that he'd been gone for a full twelve months, it still hurt but he didn't know how to act, didn't know how to express the deep feelings of grief and loss. Why was this boy affecting him so much.

"Hey are you Kageyama's cousin?" the small orange haired boy asked breaking the spell between Mafuyu and Uenoyama.

"Er yeah, that's me" he smiled, "are you Hinata?" "Yay...you look more like brothers than cousins. It's scary really" the small boy replied. "Oh this is my cousin Sato Mafuyu" Hinata introduced the boys to each other.

"Hi" Kageyama smirked seeing the connection already between the two of them. He also realised that if the four of them hung around together he would get to spend some time with his crush, but the small boy was oblivious. Nothing ever peaked his interest like volleyball but the dark haired boy realised that if he couldn't express his feelings here, he would have to give up on his team mate.

"Hey everyone" Lev shouted to get their attention, "can you all make your way to the pool area, my uncle has a chef preparing barbecue."

All of the boys scrambled outside looking like they hadn't been fed. Lev thought it was hilarious. Everyone gathered around the pool area to eat as Victor introduced himself.

"Hi I'm Lev's uncle Victor and on behalf of me and my husband Yuri I would like to welcome you all to our estate and would like to thank you for coming to celebrate with us. The vow renewal will take place in the main building at 1pm tomorrow. We have provided Yukata's for the men and silk kimono's for the ladies to wear for the ceremony and we will be having a huge party straight after."

"Woo hoo" shouted Bokuto and Noya as the others clapped and bowed in front of their hosts.

"On Sunday afternoon we will have a pool party followed by a feast and masquerade ball in the evening. Monday will be a day to enjoy any of the amenities on the estate. We have horses, bowling, a cinema room and arcade that you can use and your transport back home will leave here at 5pm."

Everyone was so excited, the place was amazing and their hosts were so kind and generous.

"One last thing" Victor shouted, " could Mafuyu, Uenoyama, Haruki and Akihiko please stay behind?"

Victor and the boys from the band sat in a secluded seating area just off the side of the main building. "Okay" Victor began, "I understand that you have never played together but is there anyway that you can write and perform a song at the masquerade ball? Yuri and I have decided to pay you each ¥2,000,000 (equivalent to $14,750 or £12,229). So do you think you can do it?"

The boys looked at each other, excitement shinning in their eyes, "hell yeah" shouted Akihiko, "I'm sure there won't be a problem".
The others nodded vigorously. "I think that we should get to know each other" Haruki suggested. "Okay I'll leave you all to it and if you need anything just message me and I'll get it straight away. The four boys nodded and bowed as the grey haired man left.

"Okay, I'll go first. I'm Haruki and I'm a grad student, baristta and bass player."

"I suppose I'll go next, I'm Akihiko and I'm a music major in college. I can play violin, bass, guitar and drums and I have numerous part time jobs.

The two older boys looked at the younger ones and realised by the shy smiles and the blush on their cheeks that they were crushing hard on each other.

"I'm Sato Mafuyu, you can all just call me Mafuyu. I can play guitar a little and sing a lot but it's usually just when I'm alone. I go to high school and work in a concert venue part time"

Uenoyama could feel his heart beat begin to go faster, 'what is it about this guy and is there something wrong with me? I can't have feelings for a boy. I'm confused.

Akihiko could see that the boy was in the midst of a 'gay panic' and felt sorry for him. He probably hadn't experienced his first love but he knew all to well that the other boy had and worse still he'd lost it. "Come on Ue, tell us a bit about yourself"

The boy took a deep breath and began, I'm Uenoyama Ritsuka, you can call me whatever you want, I don't mind. I play guitar and write music and I'm also in high school" he bowed to his band mates and smiled bashfuly.

Haruki decided to give the boys a little push, "why don't you to go for a walk around the grounds to get to know each other" he grinned. "Good idea Haru" Akihiko nodded.

The blonde felt like his heart was gonna beat out of his chest as he looked at the pierced hottie in front of him and blushed profusely.

"So cute" Akihiko chuckled. "What?" Haruki spluttered. "They're so cute, aren't they?" the other replied. "Yeah cute" the blonde replied his gaze burning a hole into the taller boy.

'Fuck I'm in trouble' the boy thought, ' big trouble'.
