Chapter Nineteen

The morning of the ceremony arrived as everyone rushed about getting ready. The band had a last minute practice that went really well, everyone around had noticed how Mafuyu and Uenoyama looked at each other, it was adorable. Just like the way their cousins Hinata and Kageyama also looked at each other. "Oh my God they're so cute together" Yachi squealed as the others nodded enthusiastically.

Iwaizumi was dressed and waiting for his friend Yukio who seemed to be taking forever. He looked over to the direction of the sleeping quarters ad saw him, the object of his desire, not that he ever wanted to admit it. He watched him closely, God he was gorgeous. His brown hair moved slightly in the breeze and he smiled and laughed with the others. Iwa couldn't help looking, couldn't help loving him.

"He's stunning isn't he?" a voice splintered the silence as Iwa turned his head quickly to see a tall blonde with a dazzling smile standing behind him. "I don't know who you're referring to" the spiky haired boy replied, trying to hide the annoyance in his voice.

"You can't hide it Iwa chan" he chastised. "Don't call me that" Iwa grumbled. "Oh sorry" the blonde laughed, "there's only one person who can call you that, right?"

"Shut up, you're so annoying just like him. It's no wonder your friends" Iwa glared at the blonde, his displeasure noticeable for all to see.

"I'm just saying, I'll help you, if you help me" Kise smirked. "And how am I supposed to do that?" Iwa asked. "I like your friend" he replied. "How are you going to help me if you also like Tooru? " Iwa asked, suddenly very confused. "Not him, you big dummy. I like your basketball friend" he said with a genuine smile.

Oikawa had tried not to stare but for some reason he was feeling a little self conscious. He loved Kise, as a friend, but he was a huge flirt and at that very moment in time he seemed to be having an in depth conversation with Iwa chan, HIS IWA CHAN, and what was this new development? Iwa was blushing, did he like Kise? Oikawa felt like his heart dropped to his stomach as he walked away to be alone.

The brunette sat for a little while musing over the current situation, it was just his luck that the friend that he brought to this party stole his man. He was devastated.

"Hey erm Oikawa?" the brunette heard someone behind him and turned to see Iwa's friend Yukio. "Hi, it's Yukio, isn't it?" he asked with a friendly smile. "Yeah, would you maybe like to go and get a drink with me?" the boy asked.

Oikawa thought for a second and then decided to go with him. 'Why not' he thought to himself, 'if my two so called best friends can have fun together then so can I.' The brunette gave a dazzling smile and replied, "I'd love to".

Iwa had noticed Kawa and Yukio walking towards the bar together, "what the fuck's going on there" he growled whilst pointing at the pair. "Well this is a new development" the blonde pouted. "Iwa chan, we need to sort this mess out. You want Tooru and I want Yukio, let's work together."

"For the second time, don't call me that and if you have a plan, spill the tea blondie"

"Okay" Kise whispered, "this is what we need to do".....
