Beck was in the kitchen of her father, Bobby Singer's house. She was trying to hide from her dad's fussing and her own impatience with it by cooking. At that moment was trying her hand at cooking whatever recipe sounded good. Her father's kitchen was filled with canapes, stuffed mushrooms, perogies, fruit smoothies, as well as other foods.
Bobby watched his purplish-blue bruised daughter and smiled. If she kept this up he'd have to go up a pant size or two.
"Dad, how do you feel about Beef Wellington?" Beck called out to her father.
"Sounds good, honey. Do you have everything you need for it?" Bobby yelled.
"Think so!" Beck yelled back.
"How much food are you planning to make, girl?" Bobby asked walking into the kitchen.
"I don't know. I'm just keeping busy until you and Sam quit agreeing with Dean. And let me hunt again." Beck complained.
"A pagan goddess nearly turned you into an eggplant, honey. Luckily there haven't been any signs of internal injuries. I'm sorry, Becca but I agree with Dean on this one. For the time being, you're on the bench." Bobby patiently told his daughter.
Beck pulled a cat butt face at her dad and went back to cooking.
Bobby's cellphone rang. He looked at his daughter, shook his head, and answered his phone, "Let me guess, another steamin' hot pile of swine flu."
"Put the phone on speaker, dad." Beck said.
Bobby put the phone on speaker.
"Why swine flu when he's got the Croatoan virus. It makes no sense. I...I don't get it." came the sound of Dean's voice through the phone.
"It doesn't matter why the sick son of bitch is doing it. What matters is this the fourth town he's hit... that we know of. And we're still eating his dust." Bobby responded.
"You need to find Cas and wait for Crowley." Beck stated on the phone.
"Find Cas? Why Becks? Not that we don't want to." Sam asked.
"And why the hell are we waiting for Crowley?!" Dean demanded.
"Remember that trusting me thing. Well, do it!" Beck snapped, walked over to her dad, and pressed the button on his phone to end the call.
Bobby looked at his daughter and raised an eyebrow waiting for an explanation.
"Before you ask. Pestilence will be in Vegas. But Crowley knows the location of the horsemen's handler. We can use the handler to get more exact information on the location of both Pestilence and Death, to fill in the gaps I am unsure of." Beck explained.
"And Cas?" Bobby asked.
"We need him for the showdown with Pestilence and Lucifer. He's our only angel backup even if he's at diminished capacity." Beck let him know.
"Great." Bobby replied sarcastically.
Suddenly Crowley popped in and said, "Sorry my darling, but I need your assistance."
Beck had a serving tray of canapes in one hand and a beer in the other. Before she could ask what he wanted, Crowley transported the both of them to Sam and Dean's location.
"What the hell?!" Dean yelled at seeing Beck.
"Canapes and a beer. Hungry babe?" Beck answered as confused as Dean.
"Would you please call off the flying monkey?" Crowley begged Beck.
Beck looked over at Sam and saw he had Ruby's Demon Blade.
