"Hey." Sam greeted.
Dean took a beer out of a cooler and leaned against the Impala.
"Dean? What's going on?" Sam asked.
"I'm in." Dean stated.
"In with...?" Sam asked confused.
"The whole "up with Satan" thing. I'm on board." Dean clarified.
"You're gonna let me say yes?" Sam asked shocked.
"No. That's the thing. It's not on me to let you do anything. You're a grown -- well, overgrown -- man. If this is what you want, I'll back your play." Dean explained.
"That's the last thing I thought you'd ever say." Sam told him.
"Might be. I'm not gonna lie to you, though. It goes against every fiber I got. I mean, truth is... You know, watching out for you... it's kinda been my job, you know? But more than that, it's... it's kinda who I am. You're not a kid anymore, Sam, and I can't keep treating you like one. Maybe I got to grow up a little, too. I don't know if we got a snowball's chance. But... But I do know that if anybody can do it... it's you." Dean said sincerely.
"Thank you. I appreciate what you're saying, I really do. But the plan has changed." Sam informed his brother.
"What do you mean?" Dean asked.
Beck walked up to the guys and Sam handed her a beer.
"You tell him?" Beck asked taking the beer.
"Not yet. I was about to. Sure you wanna be here for this?" Sam asked her concerned.
"Yeah, I'm sure. It's not fair to make you face the fire alone." Beck smiled.
She cracked her beer and took a drink.
"This have anything to do with Death putting his ring on your finger Becky?" Dean asked suspicious.
"Becks made a deal with Death." Sam told his brother.
"W-what kind of deal?!" Dean demanded.
"Death was willing to give me his ring in return for a yes to Lucifer." Beck explained.
"So you told Death that Sam would say yes to Lucifer?" Dean asked with a confused frown.
"No." Beck replied.
"No? But you just said...Well, who the hell are you saying yes for?" Dean asked.
"Michael had an alternate vessel and so does Lucifer." Beck responded.
"Adam's Michael's alternate vessel. So who's Sam's?" Dean requested.
"You won't like the answer." Sam told him.
Beck took a deep drink of her beer and held up her left hand. Death's ring was still firmly fixed on her hand.
"No. No. No. No. No." Dean repeated.
"Okay, wasn't expecting a panic attack. A yelling match sure but this is scarier." Beck said to Sam.
"Dean breathe. It's okay." Sam said trying to calm his brother down.
"None of this is okay! I'm just getting on board with you being Lucifer's vessel and now you two are tellin' me Becky's subbing for you?!" Dean yelled.
"There's the yelling. Dean, calm down. Sam and I have already discussed this. Lucifer has already accepted my yes." Beck told him calmly and finished her beer.
"No, no. You can't do this!" Dean said.
"Why? Satan needs to be thrown back in his cage. Either I do it or Sam does. If I do it you don't lose Sam." Beck said.
