The car slowed to a stop in front of the gates protecting our house from anyone getting in without the code. The gates were my favorite part of our home, It made me feel safe but what I wasn't understanding was how the person who threw the rock through my window made it past these gates. Maybe my house isn't as safe as I once thought.

Unless it was someone who knew the code, but that would mean it was one of my dads friends and that couldn't be, everyone is like family. I was considering telling him my theory but it's so far stretched that no one would believe it, heck even I don't.

"El, are you going to get out of the car or are you going to stay in here forever" my dad asked me, snapping me out of my thought. To be honest I'm starting to think anywhere is safer than here.

"Yes pops, just a little weary that's all" I state, getting out of the car while mumbling a quick thank you to bodyguard dude who only nods at me.

"You don't have to worry, we switched your rooms and he will be staying in your room which was targeted. This way they don't know which room is yours until we find out who did this."my dad assured while pointing at him. It was a pretty good plan and honestly made me feel more at ease.

"Which room is mine now?" I questioned.

"Right across from your room now, we just cleared the study out and replaced it with your stuff that was in your room before" Dad answered.

"Okay" I hesitated, my home just doesn't feel as it once did.

"You will be safe, you don't have to worry about your safety. Thats why your dad hired me" bodyguard dude assured me.

"No offense, but whose to say I even need protecting, for all we know I could end up saving your ass"

"Oh please, your scrawny little arms would feel like tickles." he laughs, looking at me with straight amusement, like I just made his night.

Fuck this guy.

"El, please go on up to your room and we'll call you when we're done discussing some things with Alex. Okay?" Ahh so bodyguards dude was Alex.

"Okay" I say while chuckling a bit.

'Alex gave me a look like he was offended I was laughing at his name but in my mind there were a million things going on in my mind, all plots against him to make his life a living hell. I'll show him, just how much these "scrawny arms" can do, without even having to lay a hand on him.

I start climbing up the spiral staircase with my hand grabbing the railing. I reach the top of the stairs but hesitate before going into my new room, directly across from me was my room, or old room I guess I should say. He would be staying right there, in the room that was supposed to mine. I am incredibly pissed off at SD gang for trying to mess with us after not bothering us for years. It makes no sense and I will get to the bottom of it.

I usually sneak out late at night and just wander the garden and pool area but tonight I decided I would do something a little different, I was going to sneak out and go towards the woods that surround our house and watch to see if I could catch anything suspicious. It was a great plan really, everyone is so used to me putting on a facade of being a damsel in distress but little did they know I can be a warrior and lead just as well as my dad can.

Smiling as I opened my new room, I was no longer upset at what SD gang had done to my safe place for I was going to make them pay for what they did.
