Let's go another cliche story I want to try out!
Just the typical izuku yagi story my way but with some twists of my own.

Izuku was once training again on the beach only to find Kirishima there trying to train as well.
Izuku: May I know your name?
Kirishima: Just call me Kirishima!
Izuku: Kirishima.....what kind of training do you do?
Kirishima: *sheepish* I'm......not too sure. Maybe some push-ups, sit-ups-
Izuku: No you HAVE to be sure! What are you training for?
Kirishima: The entrance exam-
Izuku: *scoff* With that half-assed training? I don't think so! GET UP!
Kirishima: Oh? YES SIR!
He frantically gets up as Izuku looks him up and down.
Izuku: What quirk do you have?
Kirishima: Hardening!
*THUD*

Izuku: Is that supposed to impress me?
Kirishima: *sigh* No.....To be honest my quirk isn't really the flashiest. It only gives me defense but otherwise I'm not really that much stronger and I'm definitely a lot slower in this form as well. You're already stronger than me without a strength enhancing quirk. I mean I really want to do well in the Entrance Exam but with my quirk I'm not going to do that wel-
Izuku: That's bullshit.
Kirishima: H-Huh?!
Izuku: You not doing well on the entrance exam? That's fucking bullshit. Anyone can do well, no matter what kind of quirk they have. As long as they put in the effort to do, anyone can do anything. Like look at me, I fight quirkless yet I can lift trucks with ease and toss them like flies. So stop training-
Kirishima: But I need to-
Izuku: I will be training you!
Kirishima: Seriously?
Izuku: *scoff* I'm not letting you go through that disgrace of a training routine. It's time someone knock some sense into you and build you up. So STAND UP STRAIGHT! FROM NOW ON I'M YOUR SENSEI!
Kirishima: YES SIR!
Izuku: Just testing. You say your quirk is hardening.....does it restrict your movement?
Kirishima: Kinda. *sheepish* I'm not quite used to it yet-
Izuku: Then we'll start from here. Your quirk makes you a hand to hand combatant.......*ponder* Just like me.....
