Emily's pov

Todays the day we were sent out to top gun. My brother was nagging my ear off about it as he drove to where we were staying at on ground base

"Oh come on now em? You gotta be excited for this right?" Goose asked

"Of course she is man. You're just annoying her with all your nagging" Pete said as he was in the passenger seat up front, chuckling as he got me chuckling as well

"Yeah dickhead" I said laughing

"Hey you don't love me?" Goose said as us three laughed together

"I do but you just annoy me sometimes man" I said once I caught my breath

"So who do you think who else is gonna be there?" Maverick asked

"Most likely mr perfect and his RIO of course" goose said a bit annoyed

"Hey goose?" I said

"Yeah?" He replied

"Know the finger?" I said

"The bird preferably right?" He replied

I smiled and did so

As maverick and I laughed our asses off

We eventually got to where we were going on the carrier

We had our stuff and went where we waited for a while

Soon then my eyes were covered by two different hands

"Guess who?" A voice said

"It better be not some skinny guy either" another voice said

Knowing those voices so well I giggled "now how would I forget my wingman and his rio man?" I replied

The hands removed themselves from my eyes and revealed both ice and slider

I got excited and hugged them both

"Oh my goodness both of you are here?" I asked ice and slider with a big smile on my face

"Yes ma'am" iceman said with same famous smirk of his

"How could we leave our wingwoman behind and forget about huh?" Slider asked causing a laugh out of ice and I

"That would been mean though" I said smiling

"Uh oh little man coming in hot" goose said causing me to look and see my nephew coming right to me

"Auntie Emmy" Bradley did come in hot as he attached to my legs

"Hey little guy" I said getting to his level with a soft smile

He hugged me "I will miss you and daddy bery much" Bradley said as he looked at me

"Aw buddy I'm gonna miss you too and I'm sure daddy will too" I said as I try not to cry

"Don't cry auntie em" he replied cutely

A tear fell "I'm trying not to because my little wingman is down a wingman back home" I said

"It's ok I got mommy" brad said as I give him a kiss softly on the cheek "I love you auntie em"

"I love you too little man and never forget that you understand" I said as he did his best salute for me

I saluted him back as he gave me one last hug before letting me go

He went to nick next as Carole came to me and hugged me
