===================================

After telling Eddie everything, the group decided that they should head home, get changed and bring some food for Eddie.

"Let's head out, you good man?" Steve asked the senior.

Eddie stayed quiet, registering everything.

"Maybe someone should stay with him," Robin whispered to the others, "I mean this is a lot to process."

They all looked at each other than back at Eddie, "I'll stay, just be back as soon as possible."

They looked at Mitch who offered, "Dustin bring me a change of clothes."

Dustin looked at her, "You sure? I can stay with him."

"No," she immediately turned the option down, "I want you staying with the group."

Dustin thought about it before nodding, Steve then going up to the girl, "You're sure?" He asked with worry, "What if he snaps again?"

"I think he's trusts us now." Mitch told him, "Watch Dustin please- I don't- I don't want anything to happen to him."

Steve nodded, staring at her, "Be careful, okay?" He said.

She smiled lightly, "You too." He gave a smile and hugged her, kissing her forehead.

He then gave her one last glance before walking out with the rest of the crew.

Mitch sighed, watching them leave. She closed the door, sitting down against the wall next to it.

Eddie caught this, finally looking around. "You're staying?" He asked.

She nodded, "Yeah- uh- we'd thought it be best if someone was here. I know that- that it's hard. All of this to take in." Mitch said. "It's better when you have someone to go through it with."

Eddie nodded slowly, and the two fell in silence.

It went on like this for 20 minutes, until Eddie suddenly spoke up.

"I'm sorry."

Mitch looked up at him, "What?" She asked with furred eyebrows.

"I always gave you a hard time." Eddie scoffed, "Dustin told me that I should try to get you back out of your shell. And I thought he was right. I mean I thought the only thing you went through was a mall fire."

Mitch brought her knees up to her chest, her head resting on her knees.

"I used to ask you. Why are you so sad over someone like Billy Hargrove?" Eddie said, regret in his voice. "God if I had known I- I would've fucking understood-,"

"You didn't know." Mitch quickly said.

"But if I had known- if I had known what really happened to Billy I wouldn't of-," Eddie sniffled taking a deep breath, "I wouldn't of bothered you. I would've ignored Dustin. You deserved to grieve of something like that. Something that- horrifying."

Mitch bit the inside of her lip in sadness as she fiddle with her hands.

"He was your friend." Eddie said, "I wasn't even friends with Chrissy. But after what I saw- I can't imagine the pain if it was a friend. No wonder you hate me." He chuckled.
