"what'd you get for number seven?" i asked, rolling onto my back. a pencil was then chucked at my head before jacks face was hovering over mine, spiderman style "you have to do it yourself" he smiled.

i rolled my eyes. my arms and legs spread out on my floor, starfish style, "all have you know, i did do it and i got forty nine"

"all have you know, you are correct"

i sat up with a smile "are we finally done?" i grinned wider when i received a nod from him "finally, that was torture" i jumped up onto my bed, jack followed and laid down next to me.

"we were working for forty-five minutes"

"too long in my opinion" i leaned back against my headboard and grabbed my laptop from my nightstand. jack moved up to rest on my shoulder, his cologne flooded my nose and all my thoughts just went away.

jack threw one hand over my chest and nestled into the crook of my neck. i place one arm around him and the other down by the keyboard "what are we watching?"

"i don't know" jack sighed, his eyes were closed but he wasn't falling a sleep anytime soon "hey cam..."

"yes?" i scrolled through netflix trying to find something to watch but nothing looked appealing to me. i waited for jack to continue talking and switched over to youtube to see if there was anything good.

jack shuffled around so he was sat up more "why did you hate me exactly? i never really understood why you put an entire glue stick on my chair. up until that day i thought we were like on good terms"

"you broke my bloody arm jack, why else?" it sounded more aggressive than i'd hoped it to be but jack knew i wasn't mad at him because, well, i never could be anymore.

jack sat up even more, his eyebrows furrowed in on one another cause a crease to appear in the middle of his forehead "what are you going on about? i didn't break your arm"

"you pushed me off the monkey bars"

"how? i was on the slide when it happened"

i closed my laptop and put it back on the nightstand "when the teachers were picking me up off the ground. you were there and you were smiling"

"and that means i pushed you?"

"well there was no other reason for me to be putting my wonderful glue stick all over your seat" i crossed my arms.

jack started laughing and smiling at me "you're a bloody idiot you know that?" he pressed his lips together and tried to contain his laugh. when that didn't work he took in a deep breath and ran his hands over his face "i didn't push you, ben did"

"what?" i stared at jack blankly "huh?"

jacks laughter calmed down but within his voice he was still amused "ben's always been impatient so when you were taking too long he pushed you off. fuck sakes i watched it happen, so when you saw me smiling it was because i was glad you were still alive"

"so i put glue on your chair for... nothing?

jack laughed even harder "you're a-" i covered his mouth "bloody idiot" he muffled through my hand and the laughter. i gasped when he shifted me onto his lap. i removed my hand from his mouth and he grinned "what? it's true!"
