"Are you sleepy?" I asked
Shaking your head, you said "No."
"Okay, okay as you say so," I said with a smile
You smiled back at me as you try to keep yourself awake
But darling, those eyes of yours can't lie to me
Eyes half close, you started mumbling
I chuckled for I no longer understand you
You keep murmuring as you try to tell me your tales
But instead of stopping you,
I curve a smile
Nodded my head
as if I understand those tales of yours
It's weird
But I like how you deny you're sleepy
Yet end up dozing off
And I don't think you will
Ever fully understand
How you look adorable in my eyes while you're sleeping
How those little snores of yours sound like music to my ears
It's weird, isn't it?
But darling as I stare at you now
I have given my whisper to the wind
