Some Live, Some Die

Chapter Fifteen: Arrow

 "So...there might be a temple here somewhere?", Time asked as they all walked around the areas of Kakariko Village. "By my calculations, yes.", Fi said with the blank stare. "Oh..I see. Thanks, Fi.", Time replied. "Well now...let's just go and look around and talk to people about a temple...", Sky said. Fi jumped right back into Sky's sword while Twilight and Time nodded in agreement. Then, all six of them, including Fi, Midna, and Navi, all started to look around and ask about the temple.

Hours later, all had went back to the place in Kakariko where they all had started. "Its getting late, huh?", Sky asked while moving his head upwards to look up at the now orange sky. "Yeah...good thing we got some information about the temple that is around here somewhere.", Twilight responded. Time nodded and said "I knew it'd be in Death Mountain. Let's hurry to get there!" Sky and Twilight nodded in agreement and both said, "Yeah! Lets hurry there!" at the same time. All three straitened up their clothes and hair then ran north of Kakariko Village. "Hmmmm.....Death Mountain, eh?", a shadowy figure asked as he sat down on top of a tree next to a dark part of a wall. "This sounds fun...", he continued with a twisted grin. "Might as well pay them a visit later for the fun. Too soon for me to kill anybody though." Dark said as he jumped down from the branch he was sitting on.

Later in the night, the heroes found themselves in a new temple resting in Death Mountain. Sky looked around the pillars in the first room. Each pillar had an animal's face carved into it. The first pillar in the right corner had a carving of a bright red bird that looked like Sky's Loftwing. The second pillar to the left top corner had a carving a rabbit that was yellow, it resembled the Bunny Hood. The pillar in front of the Loftwing pillar had a carving of a wolf that looked like Wolf Link. The fourth pillar did not have a carving of an animal, it was a carving of an arrow. The pillars were surrounded by lava like a moat. There were statues of dragons lining in the lava to pour more of the scorching liquid into the lava. The floor had cement on it with an odd traditional pattern on it. The walls were made out of brick and other stone to support it, and it was scorching hot inside of the room that they were all in. "This place sure is...cool.", said Twilight as he looked at the carvings on the pillars. Sky looked around and almost fell in the lava, Fi told him to watch where he was going so he didn't fall. Time just tried to look for a door to get to a different room. No luck, there were not any doors in the room that Time could find. "There is no other place to go, man...", Time complained. "There has to be somewhere we could go.", Sky said back as he looked around. A couple of moments later, they gave up. "We have to get out of here, I guess...no use of looking.", Twilight said with a deep sigh.

As they were about to turn around to get out of the room they were in and head back to Kakariko Village, Midna came out of Twilight's shadow and began to look around. She then spotted something coming from the ground and instantly alarmed them. "Guys! I see something coming from the ground here!", she said as she floated back to Twilight, Sky, and Time. They all ran to the spot where Midna was and began to look closely at the spot she was pointing at. There it was, hidden from them. A rope attached to the left wall with dirt covering most of it. "Aha! I knew that something was in here!!!", Time said with a silly grin. Sky nodded, took out his sword, and cut the rope. Almost instantly, a wall on the left wall then broke and shattered, revealing a hidden door. "Whoa! Finally!", Midna said in awe. "Lets hurry through!", Sky said as they all ran to the door, opened it, and went into a new room.

As they entered the new room, they all saw a figure in the distance run out the room as fast as lightening. Sky saw a quick glimpse of him, so he tried to run after. But...as soon as he too one step closer, the door he ran through slammed shut with metal bars. "What the hell?!", Twilight yelled as he gripped the cold iron bars. "Is this some kind of trap?!", Time yelled as he looked around. The door that they had came from also had metal bars keeping them from escaping. Sky let out a sigh as he gave up on escaping. As the air grew less thick, they all heard a roar from the other side of the room. Two Lizalfos started to crawl towards them all with a blood lust in their yellow eyes. "It IS a trap, idiot!", Twilight yelled as he went into fighting stance. Time shrugged and rushed to one of the lemon eyed monsters, jumped behind it, and sliced it's weak spot. Twilight and Sky did the same to the second monster, letting the doors unlock after they defeated them.
