Dark Wren (Re-written)

Sleep Over at the Academy (Dark Wren #4)

Silence in the classroom between Treena, Watts, Clay, and Mr. Ernesto. They haven't really thought about what Wren's parents would think if they knew their daughter was sharing a body with another person.

"So what do we tell them?" Watts asked.

"They're surely be shocked to hear it. And might have to keep her home after all this..." Mr. Ernesto says, adjusting his glasses.

"I think I have an idea! But I'm not sure if her parents would agree..." Treena said, worriedly.

"What's the idea?" Wren, who is still tied up in vines, asked.

"A sleep over here in the classroom. We had a sleep over at the museum once, they'll probably agree on this!" Treena answered.

"Great! I'll-... Wait, how will I ask them? I'm kinda in a tied-up situation right now..." Wren tried to wiggle her way out of the vines.

"Right... Anyone have another idea?" Treena asked.

So they agreed that the sleep over idea was going to be done. The only problem was how Wren would make it to her house without letting Dark Velvet take over. Watts sparked up an idea.

"Hot Sparks! I have a spark-tastic idea!" Watts says, all excited.

"What's the idea?" Clay asked.

"We blindfold Wren!" Watts answered, creating some small electrical sparks around him.

"Easy there Watts, how will the blindfold work?" Mr. Ernesto asked.

"That's easy!  Uhm, I'll whisper it to you Mr. Ernesto, can't risk Dark Velvet hearing." Watts replied, coming closer to Mr. Ernesto.

Watts whispers the blindfold plan to Mr. Ernesto. He finishes and whispers the plan to Clay and Treena. They don't seem sure of the plan.

"Are you sure it will work?" Treena asked.

"What will work?" Wren asked.

"Oh, just sit there all cutely. We are having that sleepover." Watts says, smirking before the scene fades.

2 minutes later...
Clay blindfolds Wren. Treena unties Wren from the vines.

"Okay, upsy daisy there." Clay says.

"Where are we going?" Wren asked, blindfoldedly.

"To the Time Out Hall." Clay answered, slowly and carefully pushing Wren to the door.

Clay, being tasked to lead Wren to wherever her house is, opens the door. Wren has both her arms and hands reached out, because she has no idea where she's going. As they both take a left, Wren notices something without seeing it, instead feeling it.

"Wasn't the Time Out Hall to the right?" Wren asked.

"Oh! Uh, I thought you'd want some fresh air before going inside the Time Out Hall. Don't worry, I got you." Clay said, looking behind him and winking at Treena and Watts behind him.

Watts and Treena nod. They had to find where Wren lives before Dark Velvet finds out what they're doing. Watts flies up and all around town. Mr. Ernesto questionably had a photo of where Wren lived. It was an apartment, on the third floor. The window that had flamingo curtains was where her apartment was.

"Found it yet?" Treena asked, continuosly swinging around town.

"Nope! Hopefully Clay has better luck with Wren." Watts replies, looking carefully at the street full of apartments.

Meanwhile back with Clay and Wren, Dark Velvet has surprisingly her own mind.

Are they planning something? Because we've been walking for a while too long! Dark Velvet thought.

"Hey, can we stop for a minute? I'm kinda tired..." Wren asked as she slightly feels a bench infront of her.

"Oh, uh, sure! Sure. Just don't take it off yet." Clay says, nervously.

"Why are we walking outside? You said to just get some fresh air and now we're walking." Wren says, and Clay starts to sweat.

Meanwhile, Watts finally finds the flamingo window.

"I found it! After checking carefully over 5 times! Treena, I found the apartment!" Watts tells Treena over communication.

"Great! I'll go over to Clay and we can get this plan done!" Treena replied as she swings around to go to where Clay and Wren were.

Long story short, they arrived at the apartment door. Wren takes the blindfold off and sees the three.

"Okay where are we?" Wren asked.

The black streak shows up and Dark Wren takes control. She turns around and bumps into a lady.

"Oh Wren, mija! What brings you home early?" It was Wren's mom.

"Oh hola mama! Wait how'd I get here?" Wren whispered to herself.

"Wren, didn't you want to ask your mom about something?" Watts asked, slowly reminding Wren about the sleep over plan.

"Oh right! Mom, would it be okay if I had a sleep over with my friends? In the Action Academy?" Wren asked innocently.

"As long as you keep out of trouble and Mr. Ernesto is watching over you four, so yes you may." Wren's mom answered, agreeing.

"Yes! Thank you!" Wren thanked, happily.
