Dark Wren (Re-written)

Chapter 2: Fighting Friends(slight blood)
Continuing the story with Wren, she was able to get the girl away from the machine and they both ended up in the park. "Wowee, you're fast enough to catch up to this cheery cheetah!" Wren compliments and leaps onto a bench. The girl growls as she makes balls of shadows in her hands. She throws them to Wren, who stylishly dodges them. "UGH, STAND STILL SO I CAN HIT YOU!!!" The girl shouted as she ran to Wren. Wren smiles in a teaseful way and continues running away from the girl. Wren goes behind a tree. "Hey girl!" Wren then climbs up the tree, "Tell me about yourself!" Wren then high jumps over to a fountain and makes a big splash, which reaches the girl.

"My name is not important to you!" The girl then shoots a dark beam at Wren. "Not atleast a nickname?" Wren dodges the beam and runs over to the streets. The girl starts to follow wren to the street. She stops as she realizes she's too far from her machine. "Ugh, dang child!" She muttered and rushed her way back to the machine. Wren notices the girl trying to run back to the other street. She gasps and runs up a building. She then leaps onto the girl, crashing her down onto the road. "Sorry, but I can't let you go back!" Wren apologized, holding the girl's wrists down. The girl growls and tries to get Wren off her. Wren had a bit of a strong grip and it kinda hurted the girl's wrists. "Please.... Be gentle..." The girl fakely whimpered.

Coming back over to the three who were trying to disable the machine, they were failing badly. Treena is a TERRIBLE hacker. "Treena, this isn't working." Watts said. "I know that! It'd be nice if Rom was here." Treena replied, randomly pressing the keys of the machine. "Yeah, but I think he's having a vacation at the Bahamas." Clay said. Treena gave up when the machine still didn't shut off. "Okay, I give up! Your turn Clay." Treena sighed and moves back. Clay gulps and gives it a shot at hacking the machine. "I'll call Wren and check if she's doing okay." Treena said. She pressed her insignia and calls Wren. She waits for Wren to answer. "Sorry, the caller is unavailable at the moment. Please try again later." The insignia said. "Weird... Wren isn't answering..." Treena said with concern in her tone.

"Maybe she's busy distracting the girl." Watts assumed. Clay groans as he is denied access. "I can't get into it." Clay groaned. "Guess we have to destroy it physically." Watts said, flying up to it. "Okay then. Watts and Clay, you two destroy the machine. I'll go check on Wren." Treena said before leaving to find Wren. Clay makes plasma balls on his hands and starts trying to punch the machine. Treena runs over to the next street and sees Wren standing there. "Wren! You're alright! Wait where is the girl?" Treena asked, approaching Wren. Treena gets closer and notices Wren a little lifeless. "Wren...?" Treena said softly with concern. Treena then screamed as Wren punches Treena in the stomach, launching her over to a crossroad. "Ow! Wren, what was that for!?" Treena scolded. Wren lifelessly walked close to Treena, looking dead in the eyes.

"Wren!?" Treena was then thrown away by Wren to uncoming traffic. Treena lands on the side of a truck and falls down on the road, causing several cars to stop abruptly. The drivers exit the car as Wren walks to Treena. Treena was getting up, seeing Wren getting closer to her. Suddenly, Wren stops infront of Treena looking afraid and whimpering. "Treena... I'm so... So... Sorry...." Wren whimpered, looking down at the weak Treena. Treena stands up weakly, holding her slightly injured arm. She looks behind Wren and sees the girl. The girl's hand was reached out, with the shadow connecting to Wren's.

The girl starts cackling, looking at Treena. "Well Treena? Willing to fight your friend?" The girl asked, shocking Treena. Treena looked at the girl with pure fear. How did the girl know her name? She looks at Wren who seemed to be slightly crying. "This is gonna be good..." The girl grinned and closed her hand. Doing so caused Wren to charge at Treena with sharp claws from her polar bear arms. Treena got scratched and grabbed by Wren. "TREENA PLEASE I'M SORRY!!!" Wren blurted out loudly before throwing Treena into the air.

Treena is in the skyholding tightly onto her arm, which was slightly bleeding. She sees Wren running under her, ready to hit her. Luckily, Watts had came in and swooped her up. "Treena? What are you doing here- YOUR ARM!!!" Watts set down Treena on the road of a suburd. "Treena holds her arm tightly, trying to keep the blood from leaving. Clay arrives and gasps to see Treena injured. "TREENA!!!?!?!?!" Clay shrieked. "I'm fine you guys! Wren isn't though." Treena said. "Wren? Where is she anyways?-" Watts was then kicked away by Wren. Clay shrieked and put an invinci-ball over him and Treena. "Wren! Why did you do that!?" Clay asked all frightened and angry. Wren just pounds on the invinci-ball.

Clay groans as he could slightly feel the pain. "She isn't doing this consiously..." Treena said, kneeling down. "The girl is controlling her using her shadow.. Erm, somehow..." Treena added. Clay struggled to keep the invinci-ball up. Watts gets up and lifts Wren up into the sky and electrocutes her by accident. "AH!!" Wren screamed in pain. Watts lets her go on purpose. Wren falls down quickly. Watts realizes Wren might, oh I dunno, DIE from falling so he quickly flies down to save her. Watts luckily catches Wren before reaching the ground, but sees her unconsious. "I-Is she..." Watts hears breathing. He sighs in relief and sets her down gently on the sidewalk.

Back with Treena and Clay, the invinci-ball disappears and the two see the girl. "YOU!!!" Treena and Clay said angrily. The girl grimaces and disappears. Her machine was destroyed and the sky started to clear out brightly. The four return to the Action Academy; Watts carrying Wren and Clay using his hand like a roll of bandages to cover Treena's arm wound. "Hey Action Pa- TREENA!? WREN!? What happened!?" Mr. Ernesto gasped, seeing the two. Clay uncovers Treena's arm. Plunky whimpered robotically as she sees Treena's arm bleeding. Later, Treena's arm was bandaged up and Wren was resting on a bed in the classroom.

"So the girl made Wren attack Treena?" Mr. Ernesto said with confusion. Watts and Clay look at each other and back at Mr. Ernesto. "That's what we both think..." Watts said. Clay nods. Mr. Ernesto thinks about it and sighs. "I think we should end Action Academy early... Once Wren wakes up, hopefully, you all can leave." Mr. Ernesto said. "Okay then..." The two boys say softly. Treena walks over to Wren, who seems to be frightened. "Wren..." She whispered. Treena hears someone calling her name. "Treena!" Watts waved his hand. "Watts?" Treena said in confusion.
