Alexander's POV
We're all currently having dinner quietly without Evie, Ryan, Gio and Ana. All you can hear is the sounds of our cutleries and people munching on their food as everyone minds their own business.
After the four of them left, Zeke informed us of what happened and to say we were pissed was an understatement. I was livid. I knew they had suffered a lot but what that asshole of a Sebastian did to them was atrocious. My poor orsa had to go through all that and even after years, she's still finding out more things that had happened.
(bear)
But I can't help thinking about how Ryan is doing. I know Evie and Ryan are close but when Evie seeks comfort from Gabe, who does he go to? The thought of him alone pains me but the other thought of him having someone for comfort besides me makes me angry. Jealous? No. Right?
When he talks to me, I'm pretty sure he was flirting and I know it had an effect on me since I can always feel heat rising on my face. My whole life, I've been surrounded by girls, being the Romano family but I never make any moves. Sure, I bragged saying that I did stuff but I never did. Nathan knows how I would look at some girls for too long but other times he would catch me doing the same with boys but I never wanted to do anything more until him. Maybe I do like Ryan.
My brothers have been glaring at Gabe who looks frustrated with the bandage wrapped around his arm. The Kastellano brothers are looking at him in pity and Sam was looking at him with understanding. The parents were having their own conversations, probably about the four missing kids.
When he told us about what he did I was pissed and of course Ethan had punched him but it stopped when Tony pulled him back. After a while, I realised that he did what he thought was best for everyone. Honestly, if I were him, I would have done the same. We would always do the things that will keep our loved one safe even if it'll come back to bite us in the ass. That's the number one priority.
"When do you think they'll come back?," Tony asked, making everyone turn their attention to him.
"Give them time. They'll come back soon," Rafael answered with a straight voice but you could hear the slight reassurance he was giving him.
Ethan was about to say something when we heard gunshots, smoke clouding our vision and soon darkness welcomed me.
—
I woke up and saw everyone tied up and around 20 men standing in front of us. Mum, Lidia and Agnes are trying to calm Emilio, Sierra and Xavier down by asking them to close their eyes and huddle closer to each other towards the three women.
"Check the rooms. Find them. Boss will be happy to get them, especially her," one of the men who I'm assuming is their leader says, making most of us on alert and had a glare on our face.
"What the fuck do you want?," Ethan spat, making the man grin sadistically.
"If you must know, the boss wants what's his. Tell us where they are and you'll live a happy life," he said making me clench my fist and I can see the rest pissed.
Ethan thrashed in his restraints making the man chuckle, "You're not going to lay a single hand on them stronzo," Elias screamed making the man look amused at all of our attempts of escaping.
(asshole)
The man clicked his tongue and shared a look with his men before looking back at us. "I'm not going to ask again, where the fuck are they?," he asked making me lose it.
"We're not telling you shit," I screamed and all the amusement left the man's face.
He came up to me with anger clear on his face and grabbed my face forcely. "Too bad you're just a kid," he sneered and decided to punch my stomach and some other places. I could hear the pleas from my family asking the man to stop but he punched harder. I was letting out coughs in hopes of getting some air to breathe properly.
