Red son ran as fast as he could. He didn't know nor did he care where he was going. He just ran. He stopped the same bench where they talked before and sat down to catch his breath. He was so tired.

He rolled over onto his side to try and sleep. He closed his eyes tightly as his panting faded. This was another punishment. Red son was scared. The night was silent, yet deafening.

He tried to slowly and quietly him himself asleep until a familiar voice called down to him. His eyes shot open to see Mk staring at him with curious, moonlight filled eyes.

"N-noodle boy?!" He sits up embarrassed. "Wh-what are you doing here?"

Mk interrupts. "More like what are YOU doing here! I was just on a walk!"

"A walk? At 3 in the morning?" Red son repeats confused.

"Answer my question and I'll give you context. Why are you sleeping on a bench?"

Red son looked down in embarrassment. "I-I just can't sleep at home tonight. It's complicated, okay?" He reverted his eyes.

"Hmmm... wanna talk about it?" Mk glances at his bandaged knuckles but pretends to ignore it once more.

Red son looks at him at first with excitement until he remembered his fathers words. Mk was trying to pity him. Trying to weaken him. He refused to fall for those pathetic attempts.

"I-I..." he stuttered trying to get his thoughts organized.

"It's fine." Mk sighs with another small smile. He sits down next to him.

"The moons pretty, however, I've always preferred the eventide. It makes the city glow."

The eventide? The perfect moment between evening and night as the sun sets over the horizon. Red enjoyed that time as well, but they were just surrounded by black skies and bright moonlight.

The sky appeared almost completely empty if not for the moon. Just pitch blackness.

"But, every beautiful eventide ends with black emptiness." Mk continues.

"That's strangely deep.." red son looks at him, Mk's eyes fixated on the dark sky that lay ahead.

A cool breeze brushed past the two. Slowly, the calm breeze turned into loud wind that shook the trees that surrounded them.

"Well, if you're done with your walk, I'm going to try and sleep." Red sighed sadly. Mk glanced back at the sky which turned from a deep dark blue to a pitch black grey. A storm was coming.

"You can't sleep in this." Mk glances back at him.

"Look, noodle boy. I don't have much of a choice. It's just for tonight anyways."

"Well, you could always stay with me if you wanted."

Red son stared in disbelief. Stay with HIM? In HIS house? That seemed like an awful idea.

As awful as it sounded, the wind began to blow harder and rain slowly drizzled among the two. Red son and water didn't mix very well so he sighed.

"Okay.."
