I was halfway through writing the next chapter when I watched volume 2. I really overestimated the Duffer brothers and their ability to break their cycle of killing off new characters.
It's so embarrassing but I'm genuinely so devastated and the ending doesn't fit with the end of this story I had in mind. All my motivation to write this and to shift to Stranger Things has literally disappeared.
I know it's dramatic but I genuinely am not ready to let go so I want to carry on writing, only if people want to read it.
