"Ren!" Pearl knocked upon the Box's front door. "You wanna do some destruction?"
After receiving no answer from the inside, she continues to knock, relentlessly. Her knuckles hurt, she hopes Scott can feel the pain too. She hopes she splits them open and blood runs down his fist just the same.
The door opens abruptly, Pearl nearly punches Ren's red tinted glasses off of his face when he appears instead of the wood.
"Pearl, what are you doing here?" He questions.
"I came to get you for some Broken Heart Club crazy ex shenanigans, duh. Did you not here me calling for you?" She pulls a flint and steel out of her inventory, twirling it around in her fingers idly.
The dogs eyes widen. "But I'm red, I-"
"And as a red, what more would you wanna do then a little bit of chaos?" She replies, cutting him off. "Maybe a dash of murder sprinkled in there."
Her red contacts sparkled in the light of the sun, almost revealing the bright green color they truly were underneath. Yet, Pearl was not green, Scott was, she was not.
Ren's ears perked at the mention of killing. Ren was always able to restrain himself from the primal urges for blood are red lives shared, but it seemed to be slowly creeping up on him. Even he couldn't hold it back for long.
"The ones we seek revenge on are our own soulbounds. Who would we kill?" He asks.
"You'll find out soon enough. But if you're coming, we should probably get going. I still have to go get Mart-" She's cut off as pain suddenly erupts from the top of her forehead.
She catches herself just before she falls from the ground, feeling woozy. Blood dyes her hair a thin coat of red, as it drips down to her face. Ren says something, but she can't hear, too busy digging through her inventory for food.
The axe crit, she should have been more prepared for that. Scott does this every time, she's almost used to it. It came later then usual today though, catching her off guard. She was starting to think on her way here that he may have skipped it today.
She sighed as she felt the wound stitch itself back up, Scott having eaten something. She wipes some of the blood off her face, knowing the bit in her hair needed a good wash in the river. The only part about the crit she enjoyed is the thought of her soulmate feeling the same amount of pain as her.
Giving one last wipe to the blood on her forehead, she looks back up to Ren. She didn't realize she was crouching. He looks at her concernedly.
"Are you okay?" He concernedly asks when she stands back up. "What did he do?"
