It was the next day and the party is at Mike's basement.
El channels in to find Hopper, with the TV static as the white noise.
"I found him" El tells them.
"Where is he?" Max asks.
"Woods" El replies as blood drip out her nose.
"Wood?" Lucas questions as he furrows his eyebrows.
"With.. Will's mom" El adds.
"My mom..?" Will gasps, confused.
"What are they doing?" Nora asks her.
"I'll..annoy.. they're going to Ill-annoy" El says.
"Mike! Break fast!" Mrs Wheeler yells as she knocks "Not now mom!" Mike yells back as he goes back looking at El.
"Illinois? Illinois like the state? The state of Illinois?" Mike asks her multiple questions as El took off her blindfold.
Nora nudges Mike and muttered "Stop asking her that. She doesn't even know that Hawkins is Indiana" To him.
"Ill-annoy..?" El stammers.
The group thinks at what she's indicating as her nosebleed drip down on her lips.
"Come on let's get you cleaned up" Nora stands up as she reaches a hand at El.
El takes it and Nora taps on Max to join too.
They go to the restroom. Max closes the door then leans back on it.
Nora grabs a cloth and damps it, then wipe it on Els nose.
El tilts her head up showing her bruised neck due to the strangulation last night.
"Does it still hurt?" Nora asks her as she puts a hand on Els shoulder.
"Only when I talk" El says in a bit if a raspy voice.
Nora looks at El in sorrow as she lower her head back down.
Max also feels bad for El, since it's her own brother who done that.
"Well it's a good thing you're not Mike then, 'Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah' And you'd be in constant pain" Max jokes, then the 3 girls chuckles briefly.
Nora continues to clean up Els nose as Max looks at her so intently. Like she doesn't want to take her eyes of her.
She actually doesn't know why she feels like this, she actually feels like this for a long time. Since the moment she laid eyes on that Harrington girl.
"And.. done! Does your ears hurt too?" Nora asks El.
El furrows her eyebrows and shook her head "Why?" She asks.
