-A Few Days Later; General Hospital: 6th Floor-

Accelerator slowly came to, as he let out a groan. He found himself back in the room of the hospital he found the sun outside of his window at the highest point as it had been the first sight he had been met with.

He could smell the faint smell of tobacco at the tip of his nose, as it had been close by. As he sat up, he saw Yami had been sitting nearby peeling an apple, while he noticed by the dresser the hospital provided had been a basket of fruits.

"Gorilla?" He said in a drowsy tone of voice, getting his attention.

"Oh hey Sleeping Beauty." Yami said as he took a puff. "Rise and grind."

Accelerator groaned as he rubbed his head, "Why does everything in my body hurt? It feels like I was beaten with a mallet."

"That would be the fight from the other day with Journey and the kid was more than we can handle." Yami explained, "Journey even nearly killed those two lovebirds making you insane. Don't worry, me, Asta and Touma set the record straight. Well Thank God for Cherry. If she hadn't saved the day, you wouldn't even be here right now."

Accelerator's eyes widened slightly at this, "Journey! Where is--" He tried to move but ended up freezing due to his wounds as he let out a groan.

"Easy, Romeo." Yami said. "You're still injured. But hey, at least you're not as badly injured as the dynamic duo next door."

"Where is--?" Accelerator started to say again, before Yami pointed to his bedside. Accelerator looked and saw Journey had been fast asleep; she had been on her knees while she used her arm as her own personal cushion.

Yami soon told him, "Believe it or not, when you were knocked out and taken here, she requested to stay by your side till you got better. The kid's gonna see you too after her checkup."

"What about Touma?" Accelerator asked, "Where is he?"

Yami replied as he handed him a slice of an apple, "With the Crew of course. He felt bad that those two got hurt so he decided to visit them well after the doctors' stitched up his wound too.."

Accelerator took the apple slice as he started to eat it up, "So... Is this the part where you go to scold me for being stupid and waited in recovery like you told me?"

Yami gave a sigh as he patted his head before he told him, "Normally yeah..But i'll save that for another time..Right now...I'm just glad you're safe."

Yami could see Accelerator looking a little embarrassed as a small hint of red appeared on his cheeks as he avoided looking at the man. Yami couldn't help but laugh at the way he was acting as he said, "Look at ya! Mr. Punk Ass Villain's getting embarrassed!"

"Shut up!" Accelerator said, as he attempted to hide it by covering his face with his hand.

"Anywho." Yami said as he got up, setting aside a plate of sliced apples just next to the basket of fruits, "I should check on those two idiots. From what I hear, Adofo had to get stitches and he's feeling a bit down about his sword."

"Hey." Accelerator said, stopping him, "What about the dummy? Is she here?"

Yami gave a puff as he said, "You wanna come find out?"

Accelerator pondered for a moment before he looked to Journey, moving a strand of her hair a little just to see her face. "No." He replied, "Just tell her I'm fine and to see me whenever she can."
