Mew was conflicted these days. He couldnt get a hold of his feelings. He wanted to move on from the horrible past that always brought tears and pain to him. He wanted to cut all ties that bound him with the nightmare. But... There was a rope that was holding two people. Evan Jongcheeveevat -Traipipattanapong. And it wasnt easy to break it apart. His heart was opening for Nine. As a friend, a good company. And to top it, Evan was so comfortable with him that sometimes he would spend time with Nine when Mew was busy in his meetings. Nine was also so fond of Evan like his own son.
But...
Mew sighed standing in the window of his office. Nine had taken Evan out to amusement park as he was free of any surgery today. Evan was so excited to meet him that he called him at 9 in the morning to pick him from Mew's office. Although Mew sutbly forbade but it was Nine who insisted. He subtly told Mew that he loved spending time with Evan and it doesnt bother him at all.
He never missed the change of emotions on Gulf's face and his eyes whenever he saw Mew with Nine. But Mew never saw Gulf talking to anyone or any visitors. Not that he care, but yes sometimes curious.
"Mr. Suppassit ... You called me". Mew turned to face Gulf who entered his office. The atmosphere suddenly changed to cold. It was a clear tension between the two.
Mew was just looking at him with intense gaze, hands in his pockets, he was no where near the same Mew Gulf met 5 years ago. And Gulf had matured too. The playfulness was replaced with maturity and responsibility. He was serious with his work and that Mew had seen. The magazines were top selling that Gulf shoot. And from Phi Em. He knew he was a pro.
"Have a seat". Without any propoer curtsy Mew gestured him to take a seat. "We are launching the new clothing range for father and son. I need you to cover the photoshoot. The clothing range will be provided with the team you ask, but i want it to be top notch. Clear"? Mew asked.
Gulf nodded taking the points.
"You choose the model. And let the department know to coordinate". Mew instructed once again. This time Gulf looked upto him with serious expressions.
"Evan. And for father, You are the most suitable". Gulf said without hesitating.
"It can be Nine too. Or Thanitt". Mew stated raising an eye brow.
"Then it can be me too. Right? We are talking about father and son, khun Suppassit". Gulf said sarcastically annoyed but Mew was speechless for a moment. He had always thought about it, but now when Gulf said, even if mocking, it pained his heart. Yes, it could be Gulf too. He was the father. Right?
"Hello.. Sir.. There"? Gulf panicked when he saw Mew frozen.
"Ahh yes i .. I am fine. Well. Evan is available. And. For me.. I.. I will clear the schedule. Tell me the date and time. I will manage". Mew said before standing up in the window again. Back facing Gulf who was kind of surprised at sudden change of behaviour.
"Oh.. Okay.. Will inform. Anything else sir"? He asked and left the room once Mew waved his hand.
His mind was a mess. He was so deep in thoughts that he didnt hear the door opening.
"What are you thinking handsome"? Mew jolted when Nine came and side hug him. Looking at the line of his eyes.
"Oh. You are back. Evan"? He asked and sighed when he saw Evan sleeping on the couch. "Did he bother you alot"? Mew asked him with a slight appologetic tone.
"Come on Mew. He is a kid. He never bothers me. Now. You didnt tell me what you were thinking"? Nine turned to grab the sandwiches and coffee and pulled him to sit at the coffee table.
