Trusting...

Evan was no where any problem child. He was calm and composed when Gulf explained him how he has to work with his Dada to pose. There was something in his smile that was constantly making Gulf realise something. Something was missing. He could feel it in the pit of his stomach. He wasnt uneasy, but the unspoken questions and the answers he was seeking were putting him to an edge. He wanted to say it, how he was feeling towards Evan but then he stopped himself. He would when the time comes.

The kids range was so colorful even if they had some formals and semi formals. Evan was so cooperating and well coordinated with how Gulf was instructing him. He was so relaxed with Mew that some pictures Gulf took were totally candid. He would look like a model even if he didnt pose.

It went till the mid photoshoot break since Evan was a bit tired. All sitting, standing. And then constant flashes from camera had him tired.  He wanted to have juice so juice for him.

"Hello". Suddenly Mew heard his phone ringing. Gulf looked at him who was kind of angry or irritated.

"Couldnt you inform me? Am busy somewhere and i cant just fly to you. Its an hour long drive. Stupid". Mew cursed under his breath disconnecting the call.

"What happened Dada"? Evan asked him cutely.

"Umm Gulf i think we need to pack up. I have to go for an urgent meeting. I have to pack Evan's things too since he will be coming with me. Oh god". Mew quickly changed and he was about to pick Evan when Gulf held his hand.

"I can take care of Evan. You can trust me". Gulf said. Mew wanted to believe him so bad. But.. What if..

"Dont worry i wont hurt him. I promise". Gulf said as he read Mew's mind. He could see Mew was reluctant. And he had all reasons not to trust Gulf.

"How long will it take for you to return"? Gulf asked.

"I dont know for now". He replied unsure.

"I will finish the shoot with Evan and will wait in your office. Tell me what does he eat or drink? His sleeping patron? Anything he is allergic"? Gulf asked. Mew sighed deeply.

"He can eat anything. Except shrimps. And he takes noon nap. 2 hours. Soundless. A slight creek can wake him up. His plushie, blanket is in my office. The drawer beneath the couch. If he sleeps put him, stomach side. This way he feels seccure. And his plushie too". Mew told him averting his gaze because he knew what Gulf was thinking.

"He resembles to me in so many ways. I wonder if...".

"I got to go. I hope i can rely on you. Because i can tolerate everything and anything if its me. But raise a finger on my son and i will chop your head". Mew said and all Gulf could see was a protective dad.

"Dont worry. I wont harm our kid". Gulf thought in his heart once Mew left. The uneasy feeling in his heart was settling down. He was connecting dots. Just one confirmation needed. Did Mew give birth? It means it was around the time when they parted ways. Gulf counted the years and it somewhere landed between those months.

"So Khun Suppassit. Evan is our child". Gulf smiled softly. It was a new feeling that warmed his heart. He had no intention to steal him, or kidnap him. He wanted to gain trust again. Mew's and then Evan. And then he had to swipe that Nine away.

Mew belonged to him, as he belonged to Mew. Forever. He was never in any relationship after Mew left him. And he never wanted because apparently Mew had set his standards so high that knew no one can never reach his heart and mind.

"So Evan, what you want to do love". Gulf turned to Evan who was playing games on his gadget. And Gulf had to admit he was far more intelligent than his age.
