I just watched The Black Phone today, and the moment I got home I started watching interviews n stuff- I may be just a tad bit obsessed... :)
But I'm going to try to take what I learned from the interviews and mix it with my theories/ideas.
In this story Y/N is kidnapped instead of Finney.
But I'm going to keep everything else the same. That being said, I'm not going to have 'The Grabber' quote himself from the movie, because whenever I read something that does that I always find myself cringing away from it- I'm also going to have Y/N react to everything the way I think I would- with that I want to add that there might be a lot of signs of forming trauma/traumatic scenes because I want this to be as realistic as I can make it.
