SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES 2020, TOKYO

"AND WITH THAT, ANGELICA LECLERC WINS THE OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL IN THE DISCIPLINE SPORT CLIMBING!" the loud voice of the commentator echoed threw the speakers. And the whole crowd in front of the climbing wall broke out into a thunderous applause.

I just clipped the top of the lead route and let me plump down into the rope. My belayer let me down from the huge wall, which I just climbed. I looked down to the huge audience, who are applauding to my win. I couldn't believe it, my whole life I trained so hard for this moment and now this dream, which I had since I was a little girl went true. All the pressure I had for years, the hard time I was going through, was worth this one moment. I felt unstoppable, like nothing could tear me down and I was completely overwhelmed of my feelings, the whole crowd and just everything at once.

Finally back down on the ground, I looked to all the people supporting me, almost all of my friends came here to Tokyo with me. Also half of the F1 grid was here with me, because of my brother I were at many races and they were all really good friends of me. I had to cry, because I was so relieved, so proud of my self and I was just so happy. My brothers and all of my friends just took me in a big group hug. They all congratulated and told me, how proud they were of me. Then my trainer also got to me and he hugged me tightly. He went through this with me, through all ups and downs, motivated me to keep going, if I got injured to not give up and get back twice as strong as before.

After talking with all of my friends I went back to the other competitors and congratulated all of them. When I saw Janja, we both had tears in our eyes and gave each other a long hug. We trained a lot together and she got to a really good friend of me. She got the silver medal, with just a few points behind me. I also went to congratulate Miho Nonaka who got third and then I was the first one to go the interviews.

"Angelica, congratulations to your medal it must be an unbelievable feeling, to be the first woman getting an Olympic gold medal for climbing." the interviewer begann.
"Of course it is, I was training really hard for this moment. I had so many ups and downs. It was a hard time and all the other competitors were so good, I want to congratulate all of them. Also Janja, who is just second with a few points behind me, could have won, if she didn't slipped at the one hold. Or Miho, who was just incredible. All of them who participated here, have the potential to get an Olympic champion. I think I need a few hours to realise everything, it is an unbelievable feeling, thanks to everyone who supported me and believed in me. Also a big thanks to all my friends and my family I love all of you." I said while smiling brightly with tears in my eyes.

I was standing there with Miho and Janja waiting for the commentator to say our names and getting our medal.
"In third place Miho Nonaka from Japan, in second place Janja Garnbret from Slovenia. AND ON THE FIRST PLACE ANGELICA LECLERC!" I stepped on the podium, still some tears of joy running down my cheek. I looked up pointing to the sky thinking of all the people, who I lost on my way to the glory. The people who have done so much for me. If you can see me, thanks for everything you three angels, I miss you every day, every minute you aren't there. If someone told me, it was the last time we see each other, I would have hugged you a minute longer. I just whish you could be here celebrating with us. Thank you dad, Jules and Anthonie.
