Always you { Billy Hargrove }

One day

I couldn't sleep all night, this was the first argument we'd had. It wasn't always easy but he'd never walked away before. I couldn't stay in bed and think of it any longer.

I drove to school although I really didn't want to be there. I got out my car and seen Billy in the parking lot, we made eye contact and he looked away.
" good morning " Nancy and Jonathan said
" nice to see you both together at the same time " I laughed
" come on I'm testing out my new camera " Jonathan said as he snapped a picture of me and Nancy.
" hey I wasn't ready " Nancy said beginning to fix her hair.
" you always look great come on " he laughed
" ugh stop being cute for 5 minutes " I smiled at them both as Nancy pulled me in for a hug.
Jonathan snapped a photo as Steve approached us.

" can I talk to you " he asked
" I'm not sure now is a good time " I said not making eye contact
" is everything ok " Nancy asked
" yeah nance don't worry about me " I said offering her a smile.
" I'll be in the canteen if you need me " She furrowed her brows but gave me half a smile and walked away with Jonathan who waved bye.
" it's never a good time for you since Billy's been around " he scoffed
I  began to walk off.

Billy stopped me in my tracks.
" he really doesn't know when to stop huh " he laughed
" if you've come to hassle me aswell save it " I said beginning to continue walking as he grabbed my arm and stopped me.

" hey get your hands off her " Steve said as Billy turned around and Steve smacked him in the nose causing it to trickle blood from one nostril.
" looks like you have some fire in you after all Harrington " Billy said back laughing, he wiped the blood from his nose still laughing.
" leave it Billy " I said
" oh so your little boyfriend can hit me but I can't him back " he hissed

By this time a crowd had started to gather and Billy lunged forward hitting Steve and shoving him to the ground.
He continually swung at Steve who wasn't even trying to fight back at this point, the crowd were cheering for both sides.

" BILLY STOP " I said trying to get him off.
He shoved me and I fell backwards
" shit alyssa I'm sorry " he said jumping up
" but do you not see he's in love with you " he shouted
" don't be stupid " I shouted back
" it's always been you for him alyssa Nancy was the fucking second option look at how he looks at you " he proceed to scream.
I shook my head and got in my car
" ALYSSA " he shouted  banging on my window as I began to drive off.

It had been a few days and he'd been every night but I hadn't answered.
I came home after school and noticed a letter had been shoved through the door.
I took it and threw my bag on the couch.

' to Alyssa,
I'm sorry for how I acted. I didn't mean to scare you, I know you're mad at me but please give me a chance. Meet me at the lake.

I sighed and went upstairs to quickly get changed before grabbing my keys and heaving over to the lake. It wasn't Billy's violence that scared me, it was the fact I'd fallen in love with him and I knew no matter what he did I wouldn't stop.
I parked up and headed to the lake, Billy was already there.

" hey " I said softly
" you came " he jumped up and pulled me in for a hug. I sat down and took my shoes off letting my feet dangle in the water as he sat next to me.
" I know I've already said I'm sorry, but I seriously am. I know my jealousy is something I need to work on and I trust you completely. I love you and I don't want to push you away-" I cut him off.
" Billy stop " I said as I took off my top and skirt and jumped into the water.

" what are you doing " he laughed
" skinny dipping " I laughed back
" with your underwear " he said raising an eyebrow.

I raised an eyebrow back and threw my bra at him. He stripped off and jumped in with me pulling me close so we was chest to chest.
" so do you really love me Hargrove " I asked
" I'm in love with you " he said placing a kiss on my forehead.
" I love you too " I said softly.
" do you mean that " he said cupping my face
" I wouldn't say it if I didn't " I smiled
" I am going to marry you one day " he laughed
" don't you have to ask me first " I laughed back
" and what would you say " he smiled
" that's a tricky one " I joked
" wow way to break a man's heart " he pretended to wipe away a tear.
