Famous last words

He led me to his bedroom and shut the door behind us, he sat on the edge of the bed but I sat in the chair. He lit a cigarette and handed it too me aswell as a bottle of beer.

He started to fumble with his hands " you look beautiful tonight, I wanted to tell you earlier but the words just wouldn't come out "
" thank you " I said looking down at the floor.

" I'm sorry lyss " he said running his hands through his hair " for everything "
" what happened has happened, there's no point in apologising now " I said drinking the beer.
" I know but I don't want your last memory of me to be us fighting " he said.
" I just have to ask why " I said sitting next too him
" I don't ever want someone I love to remember me that way " he said putting his hand over mine.
" no why would you come back Billy, here of all places " I said with a tear in my eye.
" I didn't want to be alone " he said looking down
" so you'd rather be in a place you hate " I said softly as he let out some tears.
" oh Billy " I said wiping away his tears

He kissed me quickly and I pulled away
" do you not love me anymore " he asked cupping my face
" I'll always love you Billy " I said with a half smile, he kissed me again but this time I didn't pull away. I don't know why I didn't, I'd missed him he was my first everything.
We drank some more, too much and one thing lead too another.

I woke up and slowly got out of Billy's bed gathering my clothes.
I got dressed and headed to the bedroom door.
" where are you going " he groaned rolling over to look at me still half asleep
" I shouldn't be here " I said
He got up and walked towards me " why does this have too end " he said holding my hands
" this was a mistake Billy you know just as much as I do " I said looking down
" don't say that " he said trying to look into my eyes.
" I'll see you around Billy " I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

Jonathan pulled up outside my house pipping like crazy, I ran out and over too the car.

" what on earth are you doing " I said
" get in we need you, you might be the only one who can stop him " he said quickly ushering me to get into the car.

We sped all the way to star court mall as Jonathan explained everything on the way.
We ran inside to see Billy holding el in front of a giant creature.

Max ran over to me and grabbed my arm.
Suddenly Billy threw el to the side and jumped in front of the creature.
" BILLY " max screamed
I went to run towards him but Jonathan and Steve grabbed me

" GET OFF ME " I shouted back as the creature attacked Billy.
I tried desperately to get out there grip but they didn't let go until it had dropped Billy onto the floor. I went running over too him

" alyssa " he said softly
" don't leave me Billy " I said sobbing
" don't you dare leave me "
" I love you " he said faint.
" I love you too so much " I gave him a kiss and he shut his eyes.
" Billy " I said beginning to shake him max came running over crying with me as I cradled his lifeless body.

A part of me died that day too.
