Zero POV

"How's the car?" asked Ice. They actually using the other car with a bad handle yet it seems to be functioning well.

"Not that bad, really." Zero answered as he briefly looked at Ice. He was smiling.

"Hey, I have to tell you something...it's been a while since we're talking about our dreams." Ice said. "It's preposterous...but I had a dream the other night that I'm a successful inquisitor and have this cute family."

"Was I your husband?" Zero teased.

Ice rolled his eyes and laughed. "It's not you, jerk! But anyway, I have like 4 kids."

"4?"

"4 little cuties. 3 boys and 1 girl. They're all biologically siblings. Cute." Ice tried to hide the smile. "And every season. Any seasons. We would pack like this and go into resorts. Just relaxing. You know, Phuket, Sukhothai, Chiang Rai, maybe other countries like the Philippines. Spend a week in the beach."

Zero found the dream heartwarming. "that sounds good."

"Really?"

He finally looked at Ice and tenderly said. "Yeah."

Thomas POV

The windshield was already wet by the rain when they were driving out of the city. Thomas had to go with the Ravika Heroes. He needed to go alone in this fight. He needed to kill Psychlocke. His skin felt cold from the weather and the air condition in the car. Thomas actually sat with his hands on his lap, so  they would not know he's a carefree and troublesome person.

The last thing he needed was to drink something hot. A coffee, maybe? At least one of them will be needing a coffee. It's going to be a long night for everyone.

"Dude, check it out." Tine said to Arthit. There was a Pink Milk Cafe sign, next to a commercial building. He chuckled. "I didn't know the Pink Milk Cafe is expanding Ang Thong. Watch out, celestial wizard. You'll fall into temptations."

"Fine." Thomas saw Arthit smile in the rearview mirror. He was the one driving while Tine was seated at the front seat. Sarawat and Kong were coming up with the covert plan at the back.

Arthit drove to the left, following the Pink Milk Cafe sign.

They were already past Phra Nakon Si Ayutthaya. When they ordered several Pink Milk, Coffee and milk teas. Kong asked Third, "How many hours until we reach the village?" asked Kong.

"Um, if Prem's coordinates are right, we'll be there in 30 minutes." Third said. "Why?"

"Well, once we get those rings, we should head back to Bangkok." Kong replied but his eyes were on Thomas.

"Yeah. Totally." Third said.

Thomas stood from the bench and walked over to the gas station where the car was. Kong must've sensed the discomfort, so he followed him here.
"I know you're scared. You're scared because you think you will lose someone again." Kong said to Thomas.

"I'm scared if I'll lose someone again." Thomas replied defensively.

There was at least 10 seconds of silence before he spoke again. "Can I show you something?" He offered and Thomas nodded as if he wasn't in the mood.

Kong took out his phone and went into his gallery. He clicked on one of the photos where the Ravika Heroes are celebrating their graduation back in 2018. The seniors. Bone was among them, lifting up a beer and making a funny face at the camera.

Thomas began to smile, remembering his goofy cousin. "He's so funny."

"Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he got drunk so bad that Prem and Khai had a hard time getting him at the back seat of a car. We were there. Anyway, my point is,  see how happy he is?" Kong pointed at Bone's face. "That was actually the day he told us you were coming to live with him again. He told me, you're like his son, more than his son. You inspired him. That...That's what you do. I know it sounds cheesy but you are the one that holds him together. Because, I mean, without you, he would fall apart. Even your friends. Especially your friends. It's just, that despite what he'd been through with his past girlfriend and his family."
