Thomas POV

Tine parked at the east side of the village's entrance. The moon was cast brightly over the village; there was an abandoned headquarters situated over the cliff, close to the woods that surround it.

It had a two square tower, and windows that were boarded out.

The area around the headquarters and the houses was overgrown with vines and grass due its abandonment.

"What's wrong?" Thomas asked as Kong raised an arm, refraining him from moving. His immediate fear spiked up as they were almost at the cobblestone bridge. Beneath was the chasm filled with fog.

"My husband and my friends are going to inspect the place."

Third, Tine and Arthit scattered around the area to check. Kong summoned the Hellbreaker. The last time, Thomas saw it. It was like a normal sword. Now it was much edgier and the blade was red.

A few minutes later, the three came back. "No sign of them." Tine said. "But I could sense magic. Dark magic from the headquarters."

"How bad?" Kong asked.

"Bad."

"Well." Kong gripped the hilt of the hellbreaker. "We still like to get in trouble."

The Ravika heroes went across the bridge and Thomas followed. The breeze of air was sharp and cold. The village where Nan, Chi and Zero grew up gave him an eerie feeling. This place was probably haunted now.

"It's better if we do this quick. Find the Rings." Arthit whispered. "We never know what will attack us. If they found the rings..." He stopped talking and Thomas shuddered at the thought of it.

"What if we lure them out of the village?" Tine suggested.

"That's a big what-if." Third said.

"But if we do, we need some diversion." Kong looked over at Arthit. "We need to cage the monsters first."

"Chi is the loop." Thomas said in a sad voice. "We have to restrain him too."

Third didn't disagree with Thomas. He just looked at him and nodded. "I assume you mean using magic cuffs."

"Exactly."

His phone started ringing as Kong headed to the party. Thomas stopped at the end of the bridge. Nan was calling. "Tom, where are you?"

"At the Wings of Sparrow." Thomas replied.

"What are you doing there?"

"I'm gonna be alright." Thomas assured him quickly. He knew he was lying.

"What are you going to do?" Nan asked.

Thomas breathed heavily. "I will end these motherfuckers once and for all."

"Tom, don't do anything rash!" He could hear the rising panic in Nan's voice.  "We're coming, okay?"

"I love you, Nan." He ended the call and he looked up at the crumbled building just a few feet away from him.

Chi POV

"The Ravika Heroes." Cain hissed. Chi spun around and walked to stand next to him at the edge of the headquarters. The Daugars were getting ready in the basement for battle. Mr. Pumpkin and Adam went to feed them with crystal orbs that came from the otherworld.

"And that Disc user, Thomas." Chi said, teeth clicking with each word. "Very brave of him to come here after his cousin died."

"save your strength, Chi." said Kaito. "They'll be up here soon."

Though Chi wears no crown or has the power of the gods. He already stenched of a dark twisted prince. The wraiths weren't surprised he wasn't still covered in blood. He looked even paler under the moonlight.

"Don't tell us that they will save you with an arousing speech. Blah, blah, blah!" Cain said mocking wildly. "Hang in there, kid! We're going to win this! Good and evil! Well, the truth is they don't see the bigger picture. You cannot always villainize people. They have their reasons! Is that what the Ravika heroes taught you? Armed you with motivational speech you can see on Facebook? That's lame!"

"And the love of your life?" Kaito asked Chi. He stared at him for a long time, waiting for him to speak.

Chi had to throw his head back and chuckled. "No matter how much he claims to love me. He will still not choose me."Then he spoke in a cold voice that would send shivers down anyone's spine. "Then, I guess since my humanity is off. I don't have a reason to feel. I love it! I want to play with their emotions."

Nan POV

"He's there!" Nan felt his heart slamming hard in his chest as he dropped his phone on the board.

"What?" Caleb was driving out of town now. There were small buildings around them.

"We need to get to the village. Fast." Nan demanded. Ice and Zero were also shocked by the news. He was already wrapping a bandage over his knuckle.

"I know but I need to heal Zero first." Caleb stepped on the gas.

"We need to get there fast," Nan said in a biting tone. "If we won't. He's gonna die!"

Nan took it as a reminder that his boyfriend was also stubborn but couldn't get his mind off Chi and what he was doing. His thought for some reason turned to his sun magic. He still hadn't had his full research on this rare power. He hoped that it was their salvation. The weapon they could kill these murderous supernatural creatures.
