Max & Lucas, Y/n's There Too

THIRDS PERSON POV;

Will, Mike, and Joyce are in Hawkins lab. Trying to figure out why Will has been, not so Will. They still have no idea whats wrong with poor Will.

Eleven is long gone. With her mother, way outside of Hawkins.Speaking of not being in Hawkins, Jonathan and Nancy are no where near Hawkins in a hotel room.

Dustin's new friend Dart just ate his cat. He's trying to catch Dart and put him in the basement. While not harming Dart or himself. Hopper is down in the tunnels beneath the pumpkin patch.

Meanwhile, Y/N is caught between the drama of Max and Lucas. But he has to admit Lucas broke her trust. For what he can't remember. Y/n's temper has been out of hand lately. Ever since he found out about the tunnels. He was being picked on by some kids in school. Older kids. He would push him in the hallways. He no longer had his friends there to days it's okay.

Max and Lucas were too busy with each other. And he eventually lost track of everyone else. But he didn't care where they were. He grew irritated with himself because he didn't care. He wanted to care.

One day the kids who were picking on him slapped his books out of his hand and walked away laughing. He eventually snapped. Y/N flicked his neck to the side and the laughing turned to screams of pain. Everyone started screaming in shock and terror. Y/N picked up his books, wiped his bleeding nose and walked away.

Max and Lucas who was in the hallway the entire time, watching the whole thing. Follows Y/N into the parking lot. "Y/N" Max said in concerning voice. Y/N stops in his tracks and turns around. Tears falling to the ground. Lucas and Max looked at each other and looked back at y/n. "I'm sorry. I- I didn't mean-"
Y/n's voice trembles and cracks while he cry's. Max ran to y/n and hugged him.

Her arms wrapped around his neck. "It's okay." She whispered to him. Y/n finally hugged her back. His arms around her.Eventually, Lucas came over and hugged them both. They all laughed at Lucas's actions. They finally all let go of each. "C'mon we gotta get to class." Lucas says. They all followed each other back inside, and walked to class.

At lunch they stayed in the AV club room. Lucas, Max, and Y/n talked about their lives. How life was crazy right now and the future. They talked for hours on end. They skipped classes and finally it was time to leave. Max walked out faster than ever. Lucas followed, y/n followed shortly after him. Y/n knew they had something going on.

Y/n watched while Lucas and Max talked. Well, more like argue. Y/n didn't listen that much and zoned out for the most part. 'It's like a super power' Y/n told himself. Max hugged Y/n goodbye. She turned to Lucas, "see ya", he nods bye to her. After Max gets into her brothers car. Y/N faces Lucas "What the hell was that?" Lucas shakes his head and shrugs.

Max gets into the car with her step-brother, Billy. "Who are they?" He questions. "Lucas", she says blankly,"And Y/n." She smiles widely as she says his name. "Stay away from both of them." Billy says sternly while throwing his cigarette out the car window. "Why?", she furrowed her eyes. " Because i said so." Billy says giving her a intimidating look. She nods in agreement to stay away from them She won't obviously. They were her friends. She may not be on the best terms with Lucas, but he's still her friend.

And Y/n is a great friend. Even if she didn't want to just be friends with him. There's something about y/n that attracts her to him. 'I don't know what it is but there's something' She thought to herself. In the car the silence was so loud. Max couldn't stop thinking about y/n. His stupid smirk, his eyes, they way he talked, the way he's slow but really smart. He makes great grades, but sometimes his common sense isn't in the now. Max smiled to herself. Of course she couldn't tell anyone this. All her friends are Y/n's friends. The minute she told anyone , the minute he would find out.
