THIRD PERSONS POV:

It's the summer of 85'. Y/n has been staying at Steve's place since last year after the snowball. Steve works at Scoops Ahoy! in the mall. With a girl named,Robin. When Y/n first met her, he knew. She likes girls. And he knows he's right, he's always right.

Max and Y/n have been very close ever since the Snowball dance. They both refuse to explain how they feel. Eleven and Mike are happy in there relationship, of just making out. Y/n finds it sickening, how they can't keep their lips off each other. "Hey can you guys each other's faces somewhere else?" He would ask whenever they got to lovey-dovey.

Everyone seems to notice Eleven trying to ditch Mike. Everyone except, Mike and Y/n. Mike because he's so blinded by his love for her. Y/n because he doesn't care. Y/n doesn't seem to care too much for anything anymore. He's more sarcastic. He's easily frustrated and irritated by little things. Little things seem to get to him and things will randomly be lit on fire.

Max is usually the one who drags him to hang out with the party."C'mon you have to come." She says while dragging Y/n's arm through the mall to meet the party."Whyyy?" He complains. " Because. You're part of the party. And i can't be alone with these idiots by myself, besides Dustin's coming back from summer camp." Y/n rolls his eyes at the valid points Max has made.

They found Will and Lucas. "Where's Mike?" Max asks. They both shrug. Max huffs at Mike's tardiness. After a few minutes of waiting. Mike comes walking towards them. "Well you took your time, Big Mac." Y/n says as they all hurriedly speed walk to Scoops Ahoy! Max snickers at Mike's nickname." I told you to stop calling me that." Mike huffs in frustration. "Well don't be late next time." Max stands up for Y/n.

We all ran into a group of people."WATCH IT!" They shouts at the group of kids. "WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING , ASSHOLES!" Y/n shouts back. Max grabs Y/n's arm to help him calm down."Yea, nerd watch where you're going!" Erica, Lucas' sister, yells.

"Erica, isn't it pass your bedtime?"Lucas snaps back.
"Isn't time you die!"
"Psycho."
"Butthead!"
"Mole rat!"
"FARTFACE!"

I roll my eyes and grabbed Lucas' arm. "Well that was mature." Max says. I look at Lucas "What are you 5?" I drop his arm and walk faster. Max quickly speed walks over to me. "Hey calm down." She said grabbing my hand, i sighed and nodded my head."Thanks." I whispered. She nodded and smiled.We walk hand in hand until we get to Scoops.

As soon as a saw Robin, I let go of Max's hand and shoved through Will and Mike. "Hey lovely." I smirk. 'I know she's gay. She used to have a huge crush on Tammy last year.'She only rolls her eyes and calls out to Steve,"Steve your children are hear!" Steve opens the little window that leads into the kitchen. "Really guys again." We all give him a pleading look,"Please Steve, we have to see this movie." I plead. He sighs loudly and beckons us to come to the back. Me and Robin make eye contact,"I know your secret." I mouth to her and wink. She widens her eyes.

We all make our way to the back of Scoops. Steve opens a door for us to get to the movie theater,"I can't keep doing this for you guys. I'm gonna get fired." We all roll our eyes. His boss is never there so i don't see how he could get fired. We walk down the carpet hallway and into the theater. We all sit down in the same row. Max is sitting next to me on the far left. We smile at each other while the movie starts.

We all walk to Dustin's house. His mom is not home but she knows we're here. She told us where the extra key was. We all walk in and hang around for a bit. It was the whole party. Me, Mike, Lucas, Max, Eleven and Will. We were all going to surprise Dustin with silly string and a poster. He's been at some science camp.

We all hid behind a wall waiting for him to come. "He should be here.. right about now." Mike whispers to us. A few minutes pass and we hear the front door open. The plan is: Eleven will use her power to make some of his robots move towards us. He would follow the robots and then we would surprise him. We heard Dustin's footsteps. We made sure he was in his room. I have Eleven the thumbs up. She nodded and we could hear the robots and Dustin come towards us.

Once Eleven stopped moving the robots. We quietly counted to three. "WELCOME HOME!" We all yell in unison. Poor Lucas. He was in front of everyone and got hairspray in his eyes. He screamed in pain holding his face. "IT BURNS! ITS BURNS!" He shrieked. It took everything in me not to laugh. Max grabbed Lucas' arm and walked him to the kitchen so he could wash out his eyes. I chuckled i little bit but no one heard me.

I patted Dustin on the shoulder,"Welcome back Dusty." He rolled his eyes. "Okay guys! I have to show you guys something!" He runs into his room as we follow. Dustin started showing us some machine. But i honestly don't care. I can't say that outside because it'll hurt his feeling.So i stand there and act like i'm listening. I heard a few things though. Apparently, Dustin has a girlfriend, from Utah, and her names Suzie. 'Dustin got a girlfriend before me'

Anyways, apparently one of his....machines, will let Dustin talk to his girlfriend in Utah and he wants us to meet her. We all agree even though i know what their all thinking,'He want us to meet his imaginary girlfriend.' "But we need to get to a place so the satellite can-" Dustin got cut off by Mike. He said theirs a hill not to far away that's pretty high. We all agreed to go and meet "Suzie" I'm not saying she's real or fake. I can't really say if she is or isn't because i don't know.

THIRD PERSONS POV:

They all stomped their way up the hill. Their legs growing restless and tired. They walked in a comfortable silence."Hey!," Mike shouted to get the attention of the others,"Me and Eleven have to go. Curfew." He pointed to his watch. Y/n furrowed his eyebrows in frustration and confusion"Curfew? It's 4! WHO THE HELL HAS A CURFEW AT 4!?" He shouted. Eleven looked at Mike with pleading eyes, she wanted to stay with the party. And by stay with the party , she wanted to be around Y/n.

Eleven has been trying to convince Mike to hang out with the party all summer. "No, I finally get to be with you." He would always say. All ever Mike wants to do is make out. They don't have real conversations anymore. Mike was controlling as well. He tells her who to hang out with and who to stay away from. Eleven is getting really tired with Mikes bullshit. Y/n on the other hand. He wasn't controlling at all. He doesn't care who anyone hangs out with. Sure he has some anger issues, but other than that he's really nice.

"WE'RE SERIOUSLY ALMOST THERE!" Dustin yells at them while they run down the hill. Will sighs deeply," It's been like this all summer."
Lucas nods,"Yea."
"It's romantic." Max says.
"No it's not. It's gross. I wish they would stop eating each others faces. And realize they have friends." Y/n says irritated. He turns around and starts walking up the hill.

They finally arrived to the top and they collapse to the ground. They watch intently as Dustin sets up his 'Suzie machine' When he gets its ready, they wait for Suzie to answer. At some point Max , Lucas and Y/n leave. The sun was setting and they were tired of Dustin saying,"Suzie come in, It's Dustin. Over." They left Will and Dustin at the top of the hill.
