"Good afternoon class!" Professor Marie started off cheery, "You can use this time to work on your project with your partner! For the next two weeks all of our class time will be dedicated to this! Please actually work on your project during this time!"

I look at Kaoru through the corner of my eye, seeing that his brother has his attention. 'I have a feeling that Kaoru hasn't mentioned anything to Hikaru... better not say anything in front of him, just in case.' I thought. But then Hikaru's project partner came up to him and gain his attention. 'Now's my chance!' "Psst!" I whispered to Kaoru, hoping to get his attention. I thankfully did as he looked over to me with a questioning expression.

I quickly grabbed a piece of paper from my notebook and handed it to him. "It's the form you have to fill out in order to join the dance club." I explained to him, still whispering. Kaoru's eyes widened in realizing then shoved the form into his bookbag, out of sight. "Thanks!" Kaoru whispered back to me, giving me a small smile. "Of course!" I smiled back at him.

"So, for our project," Kaoru changed the subject, speaking at a normal tone, "Do you want to divide and conquer or work on each part together?" "Let's work on it together, it wouldn't be fair to you if I worked on the design while you have to work on the essay." I said, pulling out my laptop. "Oh, alright." Kaoru nervously mumbled out, moving his desk closer to mine.

I gave him a questioning look at his action, wondering what he was doing.  And it must have been obvious on my face, because Kaoru's became one of panic. "I-I was just moving my chair to see your l-laptop better!" Kaoru hurriedly waved his hands in front of him, trying to clear up any wrong ideas you had in mind.

I couldn't help but to laugh at his embarrassed expression, "You're okay Hitachiin!" Once he had realize that you weren't judging him, he exhaled a sigh of relief. "Alright! Let's start on this essay!" I exclaimed with a determined grin, cracking my fingers.

*3rd Person POV*

Unbeknownst to (Y/N) and Kaoru, Hikaru was glaring at the girl next to his brother. Whether he realized it or not, Hikaru was insanely jealous of (L/N) (Y/N). How could she, some random girl they didn't know existed until yesterday, steal Kaoru's attention and mind so fast? Hikaru could tell that whenever Kaoru dozed off now, it was because of the (h/c) haired girl. He could just tell by the look on Kaoru's face.

"Hikaru? Are you alright?" His partner, he couldn't remember her name, asked him. "Yeah," Hikaru bluntly stated, "How much have you gotten done already?"

*Time Skip*

School was over and the host club was half way through their guests. Hikaru and Kaoru were doing their usual brotherly love act, their guests obviously fawning over them. Honey, hyper off of cake, was running across the room, trying to get more cake. Haruhi, worried that Honey would feel too sick during his sugar crash, tried to stop him. Key word: tried.

During her mission to stop her senpai, she accidentally bumped into a table that was holding Kaoru's bookbag and a tea cup. In order to avoid increasing her debt to the host club, she shot her hand out and caught the tea cup, leaving Kaoru's bag to fall to the ground and spread its contents every where. Shouts of surprise left the twins and their guests. "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry for the disturbance guys! Here Kaoru, let me help you clean this up." Haruhi apologized and hurriedly got down to help pick up Kaoru's papers (that she knocked over).

"Oh, yes! Let us help too!" Kaoru's and Hikaru's guests were about to get down too. "It's alright ladies!" Hikaru started. "We've got this!" Kaoru finished, stopping the girls in their steps. "Alright... if you say so..." Another one of their guests said.

Kaoru's bag was filled with paper from all of his classes, but what irritated Hikaru was that most of it was from their fashion class, which just reminded him (L/N). Hikaru started to comment on Kaoru's papers, "Wow Kaoru, you have a lot of homework he-" He cut himself off, staring at one particular form in his hands.

Kaoru was confused on why Hikaru didn't finish his sentence and looked over to his brother. Once Kaoru saw what Hikaru was reading, the color drained from his face. Kaoru quickly tried to grab the form from his brother, "Wait! Hikaru, don't-!" Hikaru shot to his feet and turned to Kaoru, an angry look on his face, "What is this?!" Everyone in the host club, including the guests, paused what they were doing and looked to the source of the noise.

Kaoru tried to explain himself, "Hikaru, it's not what you thi-" Hikaru didn't let him finish, "So you're just leaving me?! Leaving the host club?!" "Hikaru, let me expla-" Kaoru was cut off again. "No! You just met this girl yesterday and now you're suddenly forgetting us?! Forgetting me?!" Hikaru had angry tears in his eyes at this point.

The guests started to murmur amongst themselves, wondering what was going on. Wanting to keep things under control, the other hosts started to make their way to the twins. "Just stop interrupting me and let me explain, Hikaru!" Kaoru desperately exclaimed. "What does she have that we don't?! That I don't?! She's just some annoying, dumb girl trying to manipulate you because of your status!" Hikaru continued to yell. "H-Hikaru, Kaoru, lets all just calm down-" Tamaki tried to mediate the fight but was ignored as Hikaru continued. "You didn't even know she existed 48 hours ago! She's just trying to get into your pants! She doesn't care about you!  She-!"

"Enough!" The room went dead silent, surprised at Kaoru's outburst. Kaoru stood up and glared at his brother. Hikaru flinched at the sight, never thinking he would see the day where Kaoru would glare at him with such intensity. "I don't need this." Kaoru gritted out and snatched up his bag and the rest of his papers, storming out of the music room.

Hikaru felt numb. He didn't know what do to.
