* Chapter eight *

hunters pov

omg were kissing were kissing WE ARE KISSSING !!!!!!

she pulled me closer to her AND SHES LIKING IT!!!!! OMG OMG I MIGHT PASS OUT FROM LOVE okay okay get it together hunter she pulls away and so do i we both catch our breath i pull her back up from the dip i led her off the dance floor and outside of hexside "so what now huntz" she looked at me with a smile we were both out of breath and both very red from the kiss

"follow me i wanna show you something" she nodded and i held onto her hand and lend her into the woods i led her past a trail of sun flower petals making a path

okay okay i mabye have or had not set up a nice spot to ask [y/n] to be my girlfriend if everything goes to plan like i want it to

"okay [y/n] close youre eyes please" she gave me a smile and nodded she closed her eyes shut tightly I held her hand tightly I had placed her in the exact spot I planed her to be in I went over to where I had placed something

I got on one knee

Okay [y/n] you can open you're eyes I say with a happy tone she opens her eyes trying to adjust to the light by blinking a few times she looked down and saw the man on one knee

"[Y/n] [L/n] will you do the honors of being my girlfriend?" The boy said with a nervous tone with a pair of rings in his hands in a small box

The rings had their initials igraved in them

"YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES" she jumped into his arms as he tryed not to drop the rings

"Wait really I thought you'd say no!!!" She laughed at me " you idiot why would I say no you're so nice sweet caring understanding and you're pretty cute" she gave me a wink which made me go red

"Well ether way I'm glad you asked" she gave a smiled and hugged me some more I let go of her and grabbed her hand and put on of the rings on her finger she grabbed the other and put it on my finger

"Mhm looks nice on you" she giggled "could say the same for you huntz" I heard a branch break and apparently so did [y/n] I saw her go wided eyed she got up and stood her ground I did the same

Sure it could be someone from the dance but we're in the woods so anything could pop up their was rustling coming from the bushes "hey kid!" Wait....

Was that the owl lady and the human?? "EDALEN WAIT UP" uh oh I know that voice anywhere

"Hunter I wasn't expecting you to be here!!!" She ran up and gave me a hug "mom I told you I was going to grom how did you not know I was gonna be here?!" She hugged me tighter I looked over to [y/n] she wad trying not to laugh at my mom and her motherly behavior

"Mom you're kinda cursing me!" She let go and I gasped for air " oh you look so handsome oh and who's this young lady I see could this be the girl you talk about in you're letters she really does have [y/e/c] eyes that shine bright as the moon"

I went pure red and my mom went up to her "pleasure to meet you Miss"
[y/n] said with a smile and held her hand out 'oh lord please don't ask millions and millions of questions mom'

"Oh no need to be so formal believe me if you saw the letters my son writes about you I would think we've meet in person before" she giggled and saw [y/n] smile then look at me I looked away not wanting eye contact

"Well me and luz will leave you three to chat lilly try not to bore th kids to death" the owl lady said while walking away with her staff and the human i saw my mom roll her eyes

"So hunter mind telling me more about you and [y/n's]  Relationship?"

[Y/n's] pov

So hunter talks about me with his mom wonder how much about he's gushed about me to his mom speaking of his mom she seem quite lovely I mean I did have a few interactions with her but not one where she would rember me of the top of her head right I mean the only thing I did really was heal her wounds and let her have the last muffin

Lilith's pov

So he's dating [Y/N] SHES THE LAST PERSON I WOULD HAVE GUESSED I MEAN LIKE HOW COULD MY SON PULL HER SHES ABSOLUTE BEAUTY AND SO SMART AND TALENTED AND HOW JUST HOW

I mean I get it but I thought he would like someone else but I guess wishes do come true as the human says but I think they look cute togther she's a keeper for sure to be honest I don't know how I didn't see that he liked her it was hidden in the messages!

Ughgghgghh I'm so stupid how did I not read the signssss

I got snapped out my thoughts by hunter saying something "hey mom were gonna head out ill see you later" he gave me a cheerful smile I waved them a goodbye as they flew away

[Y/n's] pov

"So where are we going now?" I said as he pulled me on his staff "just somewhere to see the scenery I think you'll really like it!" He shouted excitedly as he flew his staff super fast. I held on tight as we flew through the clouds "okay hang on were landing!!!!"

He finally landed after the big drop "alright close youre eyes and hold my hand" he held his hand out with a smile

"Well if you picked it I know itll be great " I replied with a smile and proably a hint of blush on my face. I closed my eyes and let him lead the way I felt him stop and let go of my hand "KEEP THEM CLOSED TILL I SAY SO!!!" he shouted from what sounded like a far distance I wonder what he's up to? "Okay open them!" I started to open my eyes

he was infront of the moon and stars facing towards me with a red rose in hand with red rose petals leading up to him and candles on the side of the roses

"Hunter it's beautiful" I start to walk towards him looking around at all he did and once I got to him I could see him perfectly his magenta eyes sparked in the moonlight his face was red and his smile with his tooth gap was so pretty

"[Y/n] will you be my girlfriend?"

My heart raced

This was it

This was the moment

I've had in dream

But I'd never thought it come true
