*Chapter Twelve*

[Y/n's] POV

"Hey [y/n], thanks for coming on a short notice. I wasn't expecting you to say yes since you know... Do you kinda work for the emperor???" Luz nervously chuckled "yeah well can't have you getting sent to jail again, so is anyone else coming, or is it just us?"

"Well willow and gus should be here soon" she said before I saw her get tackled by gus and willow and seeing them laugh on the ground piled on top of each other "so what place are we breaking into?" I question Luz since she didn't give me much details besides what area to meet at

"Well were gonna break into the emperor's castle well mostly a section of it to get somthing for Eda for somthing she's been working on" I could tell with that mischievous smile that it was somthing big "[y/n] if you don't want to come you don't have to since you work at the castle and I don't want you to lose you're job"

"Relax Luz, I know the layout like the back of my hand. Well, be okay, so what area are we coming in from ?" She started to look really nervous "luz what are you hiding" willow said before giving Luz a questioning look "yeah Luz you look suspicious unless all humans act like this" I saw gus poke her face after his comment

"OKAY, OKAY WERE ENTERING FROM THE SOUTHSIDE TOWER"

All of our jaws dropped.

"YOU MEAN THE EMPERORS TOWER"
we all said in unison. Was she insane?!?!? Mabye suffering from some sort of brain damage?!?! "Luz are you insane no we have to go in through a different area not straight into belos's bedroom we can go through the Southside wall no one's there at this time and those who are don't do their jobs well"

They all nodded we started to make are way over the wall "okay you guys can go that way I'm going on my own this way"  I said while walking off "are you sure that's safe!?" Willow whisper shouted at me "Yeah I work here, "

I started walking towards Hunter's room. I saw that the light was still on through the bottom of the door. I decided to just open it... "Hunter, you in here ,"

He had no shirt on and had a large cut on his arm and his face had a red mark as if he was slapped I ran up to him examining him "hunter what happened let me fix you up sit down you're getting pale you're losing alot of blood?!?!" I sit him on the bed, grabbing some disinfectant and bandages to clean it up I had finished wiping up all the blood and disinfecting the cut and bandageing up the cut "how did this happen" he didn't say a word he just looked away from me not making eye contact "baby I need to know what happened" he turned his head and I saw his eyes tear up as he made eye contact with me I open my arms out seeing if he wanted a hug

He quickly got off the side of the bed and hugged me. I heard him start sniffling, and I felt my shoulder get wet from what I assumed was his tears. "Can w-we just stay... like this for a while. " I nodded my head and kept holding him close to me, trying to comfort him like a good girlfriend i looked around his room to see it completely trashed not noticing till now "What happened to your room?" i say with a soft tone trying not to startle him with loud noises i heard him stop sniffling "O-oh i don't know when i came back it was trash and i haven't had a chance to clean it" he said in a light whisper 

"well you can't sleep in here and you can't clean it cause your hurt so sit down and ill get this placed cleaned up for you" I sit him down in a chair next to his desk "No you don't have to-" i cut him off "I know but I want to so let me do this for you i want to help you so just relax and ill pick up in here" he had a guilty look in his eyes i knew he felt bad that i was cleaning but i wanted to help him cause i love him and its the right thing to do i start picking up the books and papers off the ground and put the in a neat pile i see his mattress has claw marks in it i use my magic to lift it out the window and threw it really far not like it would hit anyone. i walked out of the room and went to the supply closet that was right across i grab a mattress and use some vines to put it in his bed 

i put his sheets over the mattress and his bed was made and everything was picked up and put away i look back over to him and i could tell he was exhausted "im sorry you have to see me like this [y/n]"

i rest one of my hands on his face and the other on his shoulder i give him a peck on the lips before pulling away "lets get you to bed you look exhausted" he slowly nodded his head i help him get into bed i tucked him in and kissed his forehead i was about to leave his room before he grabbed my arm "can you stay please just for tonight or at least until i fall asleep" i saw fear in his eyes

"of course" i pull his chair near the bed and i grab a book and decided to read it i use my other hand to hold his hand i watch him drift off to sleep slowly i feel my self grow abit tired but staying awake just in case someone came in the room
