"Hurry up fuckers! The shows about to begin"
We all groan as Richie runs around like a little puppy,I have no idea how he has this much energy after we've been running around all day
Mike,Stan and I trail behind
"He's so fucking energetic all the time,how the hell are we twins?"
"That's what I was thinking,he's a energetic mouth bladder and your an old grumpy man" I hit Stan as he laughs
It was now night time and the show was going to start any minute
We decided to get a spot to watch it far away from the stage and crowd,but we made sure we were near civilisation so the clown doesn't attack us or some shit
"Also I saw you getting patched up by lover boy" Mike teases "you kissed his cheek!"
"Who is lover boy?" Stan asks confused
"Mike and Bev here,think me and Eddie are destined to be together or some shit,I kiss his cheek one time and suddenly it's like a Disney movie" I flip Mike of and he grabs my fingers,bringing them to his mouth and pretending he was gonna bite them making me laugh
"Wait you like Eddie? Oh my god I have to tell him-"
"Dont fucking tell him dumbass! That's the whole point of a secret crush is to keep it secret"
"So you do like him?" Mike jumps up and down "BEVERLY!" He calls out and everyone in the group turns to give Mike a weird look
I cover my face in embarrassment
Beverly trails behind with us and the whole time we walk up to the cliff above the quarry I could hear them talking about me and Eddie,and what's worse is Stan decided to join in on the 'plan' they had in motion
Once we finally make it we all sit down,waiting any minute for the fireworks to be set of
"Duh duh duh duh!" Richie begins in his stupid Irish accent "as the black sky creeps in,the losers all settle for the fireworks to explode in their dumb faces! But what they don't know is the real firework to explode here is Yn when she doesn't get her way"
"I fucking can't stand you,do me a favour and suck an ass Richie,honestly"
Richie laughs,obviously happy with my reaction and we flip eachother of at the same time
Suddenly the loud noise catches us all of guard,but we all look infront of us and watch as the fireworks begin
Blue,white and red,boring colours but cool to see in the reflection of the lake
"Look guys! It's a fucking firework? Now are we done jerking eachother of or can we actually go do something fun?" Richie says with a fake smile and I roll my eyes "guys,guess the next firework colour,it could be purple it could be anything! And it's- oh it's the same fucking colours we've been watching die in the air for the past five minutes"
