Richie finally came out of his room,he's doing better ever since that night I comforted him
It felt good,to not have to focus on friends or anything,cause now me Richie and Klarion have gotten a lot closer,we even eat dinner together again
Klarion told me that Eddie called again,and he told Eddie to stop,just like I asked him to do
I felt like shit,some days I'd wait,hoping that Eddie would turn up on my doorstep and we'd talk and we'd go on that date we talked about going on
But some days I hope he doesn't,so he can stay safe,so he doesn't have to deal with me
"You ok?" Rich asks as he leans against my door frame,I hop up,faking a smile
"Yeah I'm ok,I kind of miss riding around though" I shrug
"Well im about to go to the arcade if you wanna come?" He asks,showing me his hand full of coins making me chuckle
"I'm good,if I change my mind I'll come though" I say and he nods,walking away
I close my bedroom window,realising the sky was beginning to darken
I see Richie leave the house and ride of,I decide to go downstairs
I put my shoes on as I walk out the backyard
Klarion was out grocery shopping and I just couldn't be bothered to leave the house,I didn't feel like I wanted to,knowing It was out there,but then again who's gonna stop it from attacking me here,at my own house
There's a knock on the door and I furrow my eyebrows,I'm not answering that
"Yn? It's me! Stan!"
I raise my eyebrows as I head back inside the house,opening the front door and seeing Stan standing there
"Hi-" he hugs me,and I hug back "Woah you ok?" I ask and he chuckles,pulling away
"Sorry,I missed you and Rich a lot,after the whole fight...I just feel so stupid"
"So do I" I chuckle as I close the front door behind me,sitting down on the porch stairs,Stan joins me
"Where is Richie by the way? I wanna apologise to you both"
"You don't need to apologise for anything,and he's at the arcade" Stan nods
"Well im sorry anyway,you haven't been in the group for that long but you've already tried to kill a crazy shapeshifting clown with us" he says making me laugh "I promise we're not a cult"
"I don't think I believe you" I joke back
"Anyway..I also came here to invite you and Rich to my bar mitzvah" he says and I take a deep breath
