It was a nice sunny day here at California. Everyone suffering due to really hot heat. All the Muppets were at the boarding house doing their usual chaos and some sort. The phone rang and Kermit the Frog went to go and pick it up.
"Hi-ho. You are speaking to Kermit the Frog." Kermit said.
"Kermit? It's Frank." Frank said.
"HI Frank. How it been? "Kermit asked.
"Not so well, Kermit put the phone on speaker." Frank said.
Kermit knew something is going wrong. He touched his chest hard and put the phone on speaker.
"Everyone come here now!" Kermit yelled.
All the Muppets gathered together around the Frog and the Phone.
"OK Frank, we are all together now. Now what's wrong?" Kermit asked.
Kermit and all the other Muppets can hear Frank trying his best to speak but he sounded like as if he were crying.
"It's about Jim." Frank said.
Kermit grabbed something that was near him, he grabbed Fozzie's arm and Kermit can feel his eyes filling up. Miss Piggy grabbed a chair and told Kermit to sit. Kermit sat down and tried to relax.
"what about Jim." Kermit whispered.
"Kermit, I don't know how to put this but last night, Jim was rushed to the hospital. " Frank said.
" BUT IS HE OK???!! " Kermit yelled nervously.
"Kermit calm down." Miss Piggy said holding Kermit's shoulders.
They all heard Frank do a sigh.
"he sighed. That's not good." Rowlf said trying not to yell or cry.
"Kermit, Jim died." Frank said.
Everyone looked at Kermit, then at Rowlf, then at Link, and then at Dr. Teeth. They all looked pale and empty on their faces. Kermit dropped the phone and just covered his face and let out a sob. All the other Boys cried but Mostly Kermit because he knew Jim more longer and that's like his father. And he already lost his biological father now he lost another.
"Kermit it's ok. He is in a good place now." Dr. Teeth said.
Kermit couldn't speak. He just shook his head.
Kermit got up and walked into his bedroom.
"You think he is gonna be alright?" Link said looking at Rowlf and Dr. Teeth
"I don't know. This is the most hardest thing for all of us, but mostly Kermit." Rowlf said.
Rowlf, Link, and Dr. Teeth went up to Kermit's room and opened it. They found Kermit crying under the covers. The three boys sat around Kermit and tried to calm him down.
"Kermit it's alright." Rowlf said sadly.
"no its not ok Rowlf. Jim is gone. What are we gonna do without him? How are we supposed to survive without him?" Kermit asked, crying. "just leave me alone for a few days, then I'll possibly come back to normal." Kermit said.
"how bout you try to get some sleep? You know you are awfully exhausted." Dr. Teeth said.
Kermit just nodded and laid down and closed his eyes.
The three boys watched as Kermit drifted off to sleep.
