Later that day, all the Muppets minus one were helping getting the funeral ready. The doorbell rang and Fozzie went to open it.
"Hello? Oh you have the body... Well um go put it over there." Fozzie said with a sigh.
He watched as the men were putting the body in the corner of the house. Fozzie wipped a tear that wasn't even there yet.
Meanwhile in Kermit's room, was a little frog who didn't care about what was around him. He just stared blankly at the wall. He was so focused to the wall, that he didn't even hear noises coming from the other side of his door. Then he came back to the real world and looked around his room. He saw his banjo sitting next to pictures of Jim Henson. He didn't want to use the banjo, it just meant too much for him.
"I can't." is all he could say.
The Muppets tried to work very quickly and quietly around Kermit so he doesn't know what's going on. About an hour later, they finally finished.
"Hopefully this works." Dr. Teeth said.
The rest of the gang nodded.
"When do we get Kermit?" Scooter asked.
"Now." Rowlf said.
Scooter got up and walked into Kermit's room.
"Chief, you need to come out now please." Scooter said.
Kermit didn't listen to the go-fer. He was so focused on other things that he didn't hear or see Scooter.
"Kermit? You alright?" Scooter said.
Still no reply from him. Scooter started shaking Kermit until he can snap out of it.
"WHAT!?" Kermit yelled.
"You need to get out for something important." Scooter said.
"if it has to do with the funeral, then no I'm not getting out. Leave me alone." Kermit said.
Scooter got angry. He wanted to grab that frog and pull him out, but he isn't strong and he doesn't want to make Kermit even more mad.
"Kermit just get out NOW!" Scooter yelled.
Kermit got mad, he got up straight and looked at the go-fer. He pushed him out and locked his door, so no one comes him. He turned off his lights also and laid in bed. Then he started to feel tired, so he covered himself and went to sleep.
"Did it work?" Rowlf asked Scooter.
"No. I think he hates me." Scooter said sadly.
"Don't say that, he is just depressed that's all." Fozzie said.
Rowlf walked up to Kermit's room and tried to open the door, but it was locked.
"He locked his door." Rowlf said.
The Muppets now were upset.
