The next morning, Kermit slowly sat up in bed and stared at his clock. It's late but he didn't mind. Kermit didn't want to get it of bed, he is too weak to do so. He laid back down and tried to fight his tears. Then he saw his door open and Rowlf walked in.
"you feeling alright?" Rowlf asked.
Kermit just shook his head and sighed. Rowlf stared at him sadly. He understands that Kermit is really weak and depressed about the passing of Jim, and now he doesn't feel ready either to tell him about the funeral.
"Rowlf, I know you are hiding something. What is it?" Kermit said slowly as he sat up in bed.
Rowlf said and moved his hands around.
"Well, Um Kermit, you need to go to the funeral today. You have to make a speech and everything. Also sing Rainbow Connection." he said.
Kermit couldn't do it. He isn't that strong as he used to be. Rowlf saw as tears were running down Kermit's eyes.
"I'm not ready. I understand that he wants me to do this, but I just can't." Kermit said.
Rowlf sighed and watched as Kermit laid back down and covered himself. Rowlf got up and walked out of his room.
"Did you tell him?" Fozzie asked.
"Yeah but he isn't ready. He isn't strong enough to do this. Why are we forcing him? We can't do that. He is very weak and I think that we should just leave him until he feels better." Rowlf said.
"Why don't you just bring the funeral here?" Robin asked.
Everyone started to think about Robin's idea.
"But do you think Kermit will be ready to find Jim's body in his house?" Gonzo asked.
"then what other choice do we have? Kermit won't get out of bed. This could be the only choice we have." Scooter said."Well then, let's get ready." Fozzie said.
"But how do we tell Kermit?" Miss Piggy asked.
"Don't worry. We got this." Rowlf said staring at Kermits bedroom door. "I hope."
